    Not so fast WU.

    There is a Jerusalem now and in the age to come, so it is not absolute proof that it will happen in that time period.

    You are connecting dots with one thread of evidence, but that is not enough because there is no direct link.

    Gomer and Tubal for example were sons of Japheth. So not hard to imagine that where they settled were named after them. Or that God was referring to where they lived. Togarmah was a descendant of Japheth and the third son of Gomer.

    Seriously WU, your arrogance is obvious for all to see. What I would like to to see in these forums are those who search for the truth and are able to discuss subjects without getting haughty and self-important. Nothing good comes from these undesirable traits, but humility is good.

    Also, even if you teach truth, but in that spirit, you risk men rejecting it by reason of the arrogant way you come across. Be wise then. I have met many who behave like this, and they usually end up with little substance to their conclusions. And no surprises there because God reveals his truth to those who are innocent like children, not proud and arrogant like the self-proclaimed wise we read about in scripture. God makes such to be blind to his truths.

    Just some advice to think about. Honestly, you get better results when you treat your fellow man with respect and love. Without love and respect you have nothing and even you know this deep down.

    This view could be right, but you still have no direct connection with Magog being exclusively in that time period. All you have is the name being mentioned. But think for a minute. Israel and Jerusalem are places today and will be during the Millenium too. The places where Japheth’s descendants settled happened in this age, yet they could, like Israel be real locations in the next age too? Further, it says, “Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them;”. These are nations that exist today and there is no guarantee in scripture that they will exist over 1000 years from now.

    When we make comparisons with Ezekiel and the war at the end of the Millenium, we see this:

    Ezekiel’s war involves countries that surround Israel while the war in Revelation involves all the nations from “every corner of the earth” as written in Revelation 20:8.

    In addition, it takes 7 months to bury the dead and 7 years to burn the weapons. Compare that to the end of the Millennial reign where a large army comes against Israel/Jerusalem and God destroys them. What follows in the latter is not a period of burning the weapons of that war for 7 years but instead an immediate and literally judgedment for Satan and his followers and the “lake of fire” followed by a  new Heavens and new Earth. Why bother burying the bodies and destroying weapons if God is going to give a new Earth.

    Be open minded WU. If you cannot, then you are stuck with your views and may miss the seasons and times.

    Only 5 virgins were ready and were were watching for the signs of his coming to them. Sometimes our own doctrines can be powerful enough to blind us of the real truth.

    That is the only way; put the scriptures through the grind.

    After the coming Babylon will be no more, many are killed a few gentiles left.

    Daniel 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

    The chosen jews of many generations will be brought back. That is in Ez. 37.
    All the dry bones will be given flesh. They will be put in their own land, which will be turned into paradise.
    The resurrected saints will rule over them and the left over gentiles outside paradise; with Christ for one thousand years.
    Christ will rule the earth with a rod of iron.

    The jews will be taught by the resurrected saints; and the jews will teach the gentiles outside.
    Many gentiles will be converted; but many also will not.
    Jews and gentiles will multiply, but the gentiles can not establish an empire anymore.
    Because their dominions are taken away. They can only form groups of nations and leaders.
    Those groups of nations that still refuse to be converted; God calls them the land of Magog, Gog is the prince of Magog.
    Modern technology is no more, because all industry has been destroyed at the coming.
    The earth is full of debris; inside and outside.

    After the time given for teaching has been achieved, which is a 1000years; satan will be let loose from his prison to gather
    all the non believers around the earth to come for the attack on the camp of the saints, which is paradise.
    Which is also the kingdom of Christ and His saints. This is when knowledge will cover the earth as the sea cover the earth.
    God Himself will destroy the enemy with fire from heaven.

    Then comes the second resurrection of all people of all sorts; to be judged by their deeds.
    The sheep put on the right and the goats on the left, and the goats cast into the fire where satan and his angels are.
    Now there are no more evil on earth; living or dead in their graves.
    But the earth is still full of pollution; needs to be melted down for a new earth.
    The heavens will be roled up like a scroll, because men have worshipped them all.
    This is the finish of God’s whole plan, so far.
    This picture can not be changed, no matter what they try to do to change it

    I have the answer that will make you change your mind concerning the time period differences between the 2nd coming war & the Gog & Magog war .. how they are not the same event ..

    But how would you like to go about this?

    Do you want the clues so YOU can find it (search / see for yourself)?

    Or do you want me to just lay it out for you to test it?

    Layout the basic premise with the most compelling information. In other words, try not to make it too long if you can. We can explore it is depth after that. Cheers. Of course I am open minded regarding this view. I haven’t settled on one particular view right now. But know that I will test whatever theory is presented.

    Hi T8,

    Keeping an open mind is good .. Wakeup has only mentioned part of the differences in what happens to the two differing armies when they are both BURIED (Valley of Hinom v’s valley of Hamongog).

    It is in this context I believe I can help you make up your own mind once and for all .. so put on your detective hat brother 🙂 ..

    Let us start with the burial of Magog’s armies using Ezekiel chapter 39 ..

    If I said that after the 7 months it took to bury Gog’s armies, you wouldn’t even have known there was an army at all (except for the odd bone here and there yet to be found), such was the efficiency of the gathering & burying of their corpses ..

    Would you agree?

    And if so, what verses in chapter 39 would YOU bring forth that confirmed it beyond doubt?

    About the two armies .. the proof is in the BURIAL .. There are FOUR main differences I see so far, Wakeup already pointed one difference out (locations of the burial sites) so I will give three more differences.

    Difference 1:

    1 > Gog’s army takes just 7 months to bury the bodies

    2 > The burying of the false prophets army get’s abandoned because “no more room could be found” to bury the gigantic host of corpses.

    (Makes sense when you consider that one group had 7000 + years of breeding to draw their massive 200 000 000 strong armies .. the other only had 1000 years worth.)

    .. Thus ..

    1 army burial = complete

    1 army burial = abandoned

    Difference 2:

    1 > Gog’s army gets a ground burial to cleanse the land ..

    2 > A large percentage of the false prophet’s armies corpses are in an EXPOSED burial, likely the majority remains will be the exposed heap all tossed into the chasm of the formerly known as : Tophet,

    .. Thus ..

    1 army entombed

    1 army exposed (open)

    Difference 3:

    1 > (the other perspective of entombed) Gog’s armies are buried and henceforth out of sight (entombed)

    2 > (the other perspective of exposed) The REASON the corpses of the false prophet’s armies will be left exposed is ..

    .. FOR .. a .. VISUAL .. TESTIMONY .. for the .. GENERATIONS .. TO .. COME.

    Generations of millennial’s that come up to ISRAEL to keep the YEARLY MILLENNIAL FEAST .. will .. GAZE UPON .. THEIR .. DEAD BODIES (“whose worm does not die“)

    These corpses will be kept in some sort of state of “preserved decay” so THOSE CORPSES will be to them attending to the yearly millennial kingdom feast as a HISSING and a LOATHING to BEHOLD !!

    That is a critical and unbridgeable difference in my opinion.

    Good points. Can I add something please?

    When Christ comes, the earthquake that will split Israel into three parts will topple those dead bodies into the valley of Hinnom (Tophet) That valley is where the all the dead bodies of the soldiers who fought against the lamb will be thrown into. This is what will stink. People that pass by will smell and can look down into that valley filled with dead corpses.

    Guys this is gruesome news. Not what most like to hear, but it’s prophesy none the less.

    Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

    Jeremiah 7:32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place

    Isaiah 30:33 For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

    Proof of your view is not found in comparing it with Armageddon. I don’t myself hold that view.

    It is an event that takes place and it takes seven months to bury the bodies.

    That could easily take place before Armageddon.

    If you hold the view that this is the war after the Millennial reign, my point is why bury the bodies at all (for seven months) when a new heavens and earth is the next thing to happen? Further there is the great judgement after the Millenium. What is the point in spending seven months to clean up the bodies when that earth is all over?

    SORRY T8, my explaining of point #3 is not 100% accurate in the details .. I made a boo boo .. I should have checked something before posting it .. you see, everything we answer is from personal knowledge .. we NEVER google anything nor look up other views or copy and paste .. it’s all from within us .. even all the prophecies .. BUT sometimes, just sometimes, I get a few similar prophecies muddled up especially if its on points I never considered as argument points (until an argument comes along based on it).. usually I always double check before posting but this time I didn’t do that!! I’m pretty annoyed at myself!! So sorry bro .. point #3 needs correcting)

    But back to this :

    Lol, bro, the PEOPLE use the weapons as FUEL for their personal needs for 7 years!!

    Guns are no good for burning, bullets either .. wouldn’t want to throw a missile on the BBQ .. bazookas no good, grenades are a blast but would ruin dinner .. tanks, jeeps, trucks, jets, bikes, helicopters etc etc etc ..

    Do you really think the people would / COULD burn these WEAPONS for personal use?

    But if it is AFTER the millennium WHEN all modern weapons of war are long gone .. then they would actually be burning spears & shields & bow’s & arrows etc etc .

    Hi Journey,

    Here is the scripture I had in mind ..

    Isaiah 66:

    22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

    23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

    24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

    (Just an explanation in case others read this .. Since the corpses are in one place .. “they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases” must obviously be happening IN Israel WHERE the carcases ARE .. east of and outside of Jerusalem’s walls.

    “Go forth” must be “going forth” FROM Jerusalem AFTER the feast to WITNESS the corpses (a memorial) opposed to “come forth” which implies seeing the corpses on their way “coming” to Israel .. Come or go .. they GO forth from Israel.

    My question is, Do the corpses last for just one or two generations or literally for the duration of the millennium since “their worm shall not die neither their is their fire quenched”?

    Or is that worm & fire reference just metaphoric?

    Thinking about it, the corpses probably only last a couple of generations as a witness FOR the human outsiders / SURVIVORS of the 2nd coming event when they come to keep the yearly feast.

    I have an outstanding question to be answered and I will answer one of yours.

    Here is mine again:

    First off, if you take this literally, then some of these weapons can be made of metal themselves. Further, seven years to burn wooden weapons seems excessive. I witnesses a house burning down the other day near where I live and it took less than half an hour to burn down a whole wooden house. See my video.

    The fire is to destroy these weapons. Seven years to destroy these weapons suggests that we are not talking about mere wooden shields. There are many possibilities. Some people think that these weapons could represent a modern counterpart such as missiles for spears, pistols for bucklers, tanks or helmets for shields, guns for bows and arrows. This might also refer to oil tankers, even captured nuclear weapons. Reactor rods last several years so recovered plutonium could support seven years worth of fuel production. There are many possibilities here. We see in Revelation for example stars that fall from heaven and cause the water to become wormwood. That could easily be a nuclear missile which looks like a falling star. While this could be a different time, just look at the language and vocabulary being used.

    So a 2000 year old description of a war will have 2000 year old vocabulary and while you may laugh and say that these weapons are just wooden and not modern, other parts of the Ezekiel war could even be explaining radioactivity or chemical warfare. The cleanup for example is strange. Passersby don’t bury what they find; they erect special markers and let professionals do the work. Could that be because of radioactive or chemical warfare?

    I don’t know. Again I remain open minded on when this takes place. I am not ready yet to preclude the near future and settle on the end of the Millenium. After all God creates a new heavens and earth after the last great war and the dead will be judged. Seven months to bury bodies seems pointless as it is all going to burn.

    I will answer your question next (tonight probably), because It will probably involve a bit more debating than this:

    Regarding the weapons:

    My point was that the inhabitants of Israel use the weapons as fire wood for their own personal needs and that the supply of wood lasts for 7 years ..

    This is an overall generalization (they don’t burn all the weapons in one go) :

    Ezekiel 39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

    They do NOT burn all the weapons in one go because:

    Ezekiel 39:10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

    It is the WOOD that the Israeli’s are using .. which is why they won’t be needing the forests for their supplies .. there will probably be lots of individually piled up stacks / mounds of weapons left out in the field to collect at will from when they buried the corpses ..

    And SINCE the forest’s don’t get touched for 7 years .. then the weapon supply will still be around for that duration too.

    btw .. what forests (plural) are still IN Israel that could sustain the needs of Israelites from every city?..

    Yes we’ve asked the exact same questions .. why indeed .. I couldn’t give the definitive answer, God has been very quiet on this bit for some reason .. something important must be going on .. but what exactly? .. I don’t know.

    my point is why bury the bodies at all

    1 > It only takes 7 months to bury the bodies, but there are 7 years to go still .. obviously you’d need to clean up the bodies being so close to home lest disease spreads .. that should explain WHY God gets them to bury the bodies .. but the remaining 6.5 years is still cloaked in mystery.

    2 > One definite is this: God leaves a sixth part of the army to testify to the world as WITNESSES as to what God did to Gog’s army .. there is no more technology by now so it is going to take a while to spread the word around the globe by horseback .. word of mouth .. sailing ships of some sort etc .. God has done this often in the past .. Israel’s enemies for example .. God often lets a percentage escape back to their own lands etc to WITNESS what the God of Israel has done to them .. how long this bit takes .. I do not know?

    3 > Maybe it has something to do with waiting for the youngest Israelite children to mature physically & spiritually before the end is finalised? .. since the Israelites will be going through the same processes the Christians did .. maybe God is going to let that process finish “naturally” for that very last generation before wrapping up?

    Like God waited for the fullness of the Gentiles .. or how He waited till evil reached it’s peak .. who gauges all these limits? God does, only He knows, but He hasn’t revealed why or when .. just that the world will continue for at least 7 more years after the millennium before the melting and remaking.

    The exact reason for 7 more years is not explained anywhere, if this frustrates you, imagine how we feel, we are the ones repeating this message and we don’t know either!!

    But faith soothes us in the specifics that God HAS revealed .. even if only a minority agrees .. it’s not the quantity that counts!

    PART 1:

    1.The 3rd ww, men against men.

    The trigger that will start the march towards WW3 ..

    Daniel 11:

    38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

    39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

    Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

    The war stops because the SIGN of the Lord appears in the air .. the armies will be confused .. the leaders vexed .. a truce will stop the war and all guns will point at this new threat.

    2.Armageddon men against the Lamb of God.

    Revelation 16:13-14

    13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

    14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

    [u]Revelation 19:11[/u] And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

    Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

    3.Babylon destroyed.

    Revelation 18:20-24

    20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

    21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

    22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

Holy Jerusalem is during the millennium, NOT the same as New Jerusalem which comes down onto the New earth after the millennium)

    5.The saints will teach the jews;

    Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

    Isaiah 30:19-21

    19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

    20 And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

    Zephaniah 3:8-20

    8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

    9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
