    Wakeup, that is too much of a stretch for me to accept. The verse is specific and I don’t believe it fits in your theory. Just being honest. This is why I am open minded. I am not going to choose a view until that view fits the evidence. Even then, I will be open minded as things change very fast. e.g., if we lived in the time of Adolph Hitler, it might have been tempting to believe that he was the Antichrist.

    It is very good to be careful nowadays, there are too many prophets who have send themselves.
    What proof are you looking for to be convinced that Armageddon is not the war of gog
    Or any other doubts.
    I will provide you with the scriptures.
    If you just give us the list of your doubts.

    The war of Gog and Magog is very important to know, because all have misunderstood;
    and start making own assumptions.
    The war of men against men is the 3rdww ,not Armageddon. The scribes have not discovered this also.
    Because that war will be shortened by God to save some flesh.
    This alone should tell, that that war is not the war against the Lamb.
    How is God going to stop the war? Just by appearing in the clouds.

    The war against the Lamb is the war of Armageddon. This will only take one day. Babylon will be no more in one day.
    The two sides of the army will be gathered to one place(megiddo), then all destroyed in one day.
    The earth will shake, and there will be hailstones and fire, and floods, all in one day.
    All the dead will be buried in the valley of jehosaphat (hinom).
    The blood will be up to a horse bridle.

    The war of Gog and Magog is the war; after satan has been released from his prison.(rev.20).
    1000years after Armageddon.

    After the saints are killed.(rev.20). Then the coming; and
    satan will be in prison for 1000years.This means that during the 1000years reign satan is not there; not active.
    Only his angels are active. This is the reason why satan was not destroyed at the coming, and his angels are still free.
    This is the reason why only the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire.(rev.19).
    Have you ever wonder about that? Or don’t you care?

    Revelation 20 tells us that satan will be put in prison for a 1000years.
    Then after; he will be let loose, and he will gather his armies(gog magog) from the four corners of the earth,
    to compass the camp of the saints. The camp of the saints is paradise, because they are still flesh,
    and they live in peace with no pain; no sorrows; no tears, and no wars.
    That paradise is the kingdom of God, and his saints are ruling as kings and priests,for 1000years.
    (paradise; the camp; is 2240x2240x2240.with no visible walls(rev21).

    That war is called the war of Gog and Magog. All the dead will be buried in the valley of Hamongog;
    in a place called Hamonah. You should see the difference.
    First it was the valley of Jehosaphat, between Jerusalem and the mt of olives.
    And the other, the valley of Hamongog, east of the dead sea.

    And; The Word of God(Jesus) is going to destroy Babylon the great at the coming.
    But God Himself is going to destroy Gog with fire from heaven from God.(rev.20).
    Remember what scripture says? (I cor 15:28), God is going to take control after the 1000years are up?
    Jesus will be in subjection to God. This is the reason why God Himself is going to destroy satan and his man gog.
    And all including satan and his angels will be cast into the lake of fire, made for the devil and his angels.

    1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

    After the war of Gog and Magog; comes the second resurrection.
    And after that the earth will be melted and the heavens rolled up as a scroll.
    Then a new heaven and a new earth. Heaven on earth.
    After all that; many still can not see; or will not see,
    because still love the new wine. Taste too good to let go.
    Or could it be pride?

    Well given the amount of conflicting teachings on End Times, then most would have to be wrong. It is not a matter of what I doubt, but what I can accept as certain because scripture makes it plain enough. However, sometimes things have to happen before it becomes plain. In saying that, I am aware of the main theories of how the End Times will play out. While I may not go along wholeheartedly with them, and while I may favour one over another, I will keep an open mind.

    e.g., no point in saying the mark of the beast is not a chip, and then accept a chip for convenience based on that belief that it is not the mark. No I want to be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove. I try to tread carefully in this subject. Too many views out there and all pretty much convinced they are right. So I don’t want to be like them.

    Prophesies are there for us to know of things to come, not of things that has happened or is happening.
    By that time we will be in shock, and not prepared spiritually to cope.
    We must be prepared what the enemy has in store for us, so we can build up our faith in God
    to resist what is coming. Our foundation must be strong, our wall must be build with tempered mortar
    or it will fall. Even the very elect can be fooled, if possible, what more the unprepared?

    The deception will be so great, and so smooth that it can not be perceived by the majority.
    The proof is that the world will see the two men send by God, will be perceived as the enemy.
    And regret later, but of course by then it would be too late.
    However you have so far understood dimly what is in store for all Christians.
    With that knowledge you will remember the scriptures, and stand your ground.

    Some prophecies are warnings for things to come and they will become evident at the right time. Jumping the gun on them is precisely why there are so many theories. God will make it clear to those who are awake. I don’t see that the economic system is guilty of the martyrs. I await to see what God will reveal in his time. I don’t see the economic system shedding the blood of martyrs. In the history of the world we see that the Vatican, Islam, and other political powers have done so.

    Other prophecies are there to show that God is in control and his plan is being worked out. When Israel became a nation that was a demonstration that God is working through his plan. It probably also encouraged individuals to aspire to the resurrection of the land of Israel. Most of us see this in hindsight.

    Greed causes all wars, young men are killed to accomplish their agenda.
    Life means nothing to them; they are men without conscience, seared with a hot iron.
    Innocent women and children are killed, many suffer of hunger and decease.
    All the poor in Africa and around the world, is because the mighty rich have taken all
    their privileges away. They conquer to have more goods and power.
    God has not forgotten the poor and suffering; He always speaks of the poor and the oppressed.
    All the sufferings are caused by wars, and politics. They have put the yoke on the poor.
    Politics based on greed. They steal peoples money because they want more.
    The day is near when the yoke will be removed off the poor.
    Blessed are the poor; for they shall see God.

    Picking up emeralds all over the place,
    Then diamonds all over the place.
    This means knowledge.

    I can’t see what Israel has to do with anything.

    My family are “Jewish” Christians. But so what? God is the God of the whole earth. Why deny that? God is working all through the earth, not just in one place. I am of Hebrew ancestry, yet I live nowhere near Israel. Actually, my family name means: “Kin of Judah”, and though I like that, it has nothing imo to do with a country… apart from the fact it is mentioned in the Bible. I do not see God gathering people to a nation on earth. I look to Heaven, as Jesus said. Jesus said “Believe me, there will come a time, when neither in Jerusalem or on this mountain will you worship the FATHER. God desires those who worship him in Spirit and Truth.

    Please, anyone, explain the significance of the country Israel? Because I can’t see it. And when Israel attacks the Gazan’s, the spirit in me feels sympathy for them, not for Israel?

    Yes, I have dreamed of things before they happen. (Russian meteorite, marathon bombings, transport explosions, gathering of world powers, Russian invasion).

    And that other verse is in the next chapter so it is clearly in context. Like you said to Wakeup,
    “sometimes we don’t understand Prophecy until after we see its fulfillment”
    Or something along those lines.
