Actually Korah was the rebel who was swallowed up by the earth for challenging Moses.
But his sons were leaders in worship and in penning large numbers of beautiful psalms including this one.

Man and humanity are synonyms.
The subject of the passage is “man being in honor abideth not” not humanity in general. Every pronoun in the passage can be replaced by that subject.
Upright humans abide in honor or they are not upright.
The word man or human 13 is more ambiguous but the context tells us they are deceived by those that do no abide in honor. The upright may be deceived for a time but in the end they will find the truth.
That leads me to understand that both mentions of man is speaking of men who do not seek God’s righteousness or his kingdom.

NOW TO SUPER LOGICAL REASONING:
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat.
for in what day soever thou shalt eat of it, THOU SHALT DIE THE DEATH.
The term: DIE THE DEATH, is a reference to A PARTICULAR DEATH
both to Adam’s soul, “THE WORD” and to his FLESH BODY and both of them died

You definitely say:
But Adam remained ALIVE in the flesh!
In a particular way Adam’s FLESH was alive, but in the truth

SO HUMANS’ BODY FROM ADAM’S SIN WAS DEAD! BOTH IN THE FLESH, SINCE IT WAS ONLY A CARRIER, AND IN THE SOUL SINCE SATANA THE SPIRIT OF DEATH, ABIDED IN IT,
John 3:5 Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be
born again of water and the Holy Ghost, IN ONE INSTANT

Let’s analyze the above scriptures.
SO Adam never had a FLESH AND BLOOD BODY before he sinned. he was not yet born of the flesh and blood!!!!
But for sure he had a spiritual flesh body since God created him in His Image and likeness!
ALL SPIRITUAL!
WHICH MEANS HE HAD A SOUL, in John 3:5 above depicted as WATER, and also THE HOLY GHOST within, ADAM was born in water and of the Holy Ghost!!!
THE FACT THAT JESUS SAID : BORN AGAIN……..
since He was in God’s own image!
The fact that
THEY WERE NAKED, WHICH MEANS WITHOUT A PHYSICAL, TANGIBLE FLESH AND BLOOD BODY!
So once he sinned and rejected God’s process of holiness,
ALL GOD’S CHARACTERISITICS, GOD’S LIKNESS,
related to God’s process of holiness were lost, so
HIS PURE SPIRITUAL BODY DIED,
THE HOLY GHOST left Adam’s soul,and was replaced with a
FLESH AND BLOOD BODY, as an act of justification that Satana occupied Adam’s soul for the first ever time, therefore:
HE WAS BORN OF THE FLESH, dead substance, not spiritual at all,
JUST A CARRIER! related to the evil spirit Satana who had just taken hold of Adam’s soul, with the consequences, that his soul,
IN THAT MOMENT IN TIME,
ENGULFED IN THE EVIL FILTHY BLOOD, could never live in
the truth of God anymore, but only through the FATHER OF LIES within him!
As Jesus Himself declared:
John8: Why do you not know my speech? Because you cannot hear my word. 44You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. 45But if I say the truth, you believe me not. 46Which of you shall convince me of sin? If I say the truth to you, why do you not believe me? 47He that is of God, heareth the words of God. Therefore you hear them not, because you are not of God.
So ADAM was not of God, or rather HE DIDN’T REMAIN OF GOD, when he sinned, but of Satana!
So The above is more related to the spiritual death, THROUGHOUT since Adam was all spiritual even his flesh body!
THE FACT THAT FLESH COUNTS FOR NOTHING FOR GOD, IT IS THE SPIRIT WHICH ESTABLISHES ALL!
SINCE GOD IS SPIRIT, AND THROUGH HIS UNFATHOMABLE WISDOM HE CREATES ALL!
READ AND BE CONVINCED of the truth:
Ezekiel 37:7 And I prophesied as he had commanded me: and as I prophesied there was a noise, and behold a commotion:
and the bones came together, each one to its joint. 8And I saw, and behold the sinews, and the flesh came up upon them: and the skin was stretched out over them, but there was no spirit in them.
9And he said to me:
Prophesy to the spirit, prophesy, O son of man, and say to the spirit: Thus saith the Lord God: Come, spirit, from the four winds, and blow upon these slain, and let them live again.
10And I prophesied as he had commanded me:
and the spirit came into them, and they lived: and they stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
From the above we are aware that God ordered his spirit twice,
first in order to establish anew
the human flesh and blood bodies, and still remained lifeless! OK???
OBVIOUS THEY WERE BORN ONLY OF THE FLESH!!!! DEAD LUCIFER’S SUBSTANCE NO? depicted in Genesis 2:7 mist and dust, SLIME!!!
Then he ordered His spirit again from the four winds, now, with every respect do you discern the meaning of this????? what the four winds signify, and gave life to the flesh????
never mind!
THEN THEY WERE BORN OF THE SPIRIT!
EXSCTLY AS JESUS DECLARED!
NOW THIS IS FOR YOU,

AND YOU BELIEVE NOT ;
how will you believe,

Now MORE, TO MAKE SURE YOU WON’T BE IN DOUBT regarding
the Holy Spirit within Adam!
In the above I said that ONCE ADAM SINNED, the EVIL spirit Satana got hold temporary Adam’s soul, and in the truth,
Adam became:
THE CURSED FLESH AND BLOOD FATHER AND GOD OF THE EARTH OF ALL ( SATANIC) HUMAN BEINGS!
THE MOST HORRIBLE CREATURE EVER!
ADAM WAS THE IMAGE OF SATANA!
HE COMPLETELY LOST GOD’S SPIRIUAL FLESH BEAUTY!
TODAY SCIENCE PROVED WHAT KIND OF A HUMAN BEING WAS ADAM IN THE TRUTH!
SO SATANA WALKED ON EARTH AS THE MAN ADAM, IN FLESH AND BLOOD!
HIS DREAM CAME TRUE! For four thousand years! AGAIN GOT THE MESSAGE OR NOT????
So IT STANDS TO REASON, that before HE sinned:
ADAM WAS IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SPIRITUAL FLESH BODY!!
IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND LIKENESS!
THE ABODE OF GOD
NOW THAT IS CLEAR ENOUGH AND
SUPER LOGICAL ENOUGH TO ACCEPT THAT SINCE ADAM WAS THE VERY FIRST ABODE OF GOD,
IN THE GARDEN OF GOD,
IN ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD
ALL ETERNALLY EXISTED,
HE DEFINITELY HAD
THE HOLY SPIRIT WITHIN HIS SOUL
HE WAS BORN OF WATER AND THE HOLY GHOST
FOR GOD ONLY ABIDES WITHIN THE HOLY GHOST, AND VICE VERSA!
I AM IN THE FATHER AND THE FATHER IS IN ME!
ALWAYS AS HE SEEMS FIT. ALWAYS IN HIS OWN GENUINE SUBSTANCE!
OBVIOUS THEN:
ADAM’S SOUL WAS “THE WORD” SINCE HE WAS THE FIRST BORN OF ALL HUMAN CREATURES! IN THIS CASE !ALL IN HIM…..
