Adam…..you are right, it sure is unending discussions, my hope is that someone following heaven heaven net might derive some helpful understanding from these endless, dialogues. I miss you a lot on here. So from time to time pop in and give us a boost , you alway give me joy, when i hear your God given gift of understanding of scriptures, I know you do have your plate full right now, may bless and keep you and your family healthy during this pandemic break out in India. Hello brother Gene, it is always a joy for me to read your posts on Heaven net. You are the one who is lone having this broad understanding on the scriptures. But it is quite frustrating to see how others are negating your comments on this group. Recently I came across this book “Helping Jesus Fulfill Prophecy” by Robert J. Miller which clearly brings out how the New Testament writers played with Hebrew scriptures to suite their preconceived ideas on Jesus and they made these new scriptures to make man Jesus as God(indirectly) and his alleged involvement in the God’s creation which is no where found in the Hebrew scriptures. The writer of John’s Gospel is one such examples he makes Jesus as the “word” which was in the beginning with God and also God thereby Jesus is somehow involved in God’s creation which is foreign to Hebrew scriptures. Not only that NT writers like Paul, Matthew, Luke etc. taken Hebrew scriptures out of their original context and applied to Jesus to prove that he was not only the promised Jewish Messiah, but also the co-creator with God, pre-existing with God from the beginning, Saviour, Judge Life-giver etc. which are not available in the Hebrew Bible.
