God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions AND IN MANY WAYS,
in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, Whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

You cannot accept that He spoke IN YET ANOTHER WAY, DIRECTLY, THROUGH HIS SON.
So you naturally think the Son spoke for and from himself.

It is all of God Who gave him the words to say. Jesus said so and you should believe him.
