Worshiping anything or anyone as God other that God Himself is idolatry.

God has revealed to the church through the Apostle Peter that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. And so, why not leave it at that.

Jesus did say that “he who has seen him has seen the Father”, and yes, we have seen God’s character made manifest through the life of Jesus. He said that it was the Father doing the works through him. That is how he can say “he who has seen the me has seen the Father. Read John 14 in context and you will understand this.

Hebrews 1 states that “Jesus is the express image of God’s person”. He is the “last Adam”. The first Adam was made “living soul”, and “the last Adam, was made a life giving spirit”.

We also has born again Christians should be manifesting God’s character through the life that we live in obedience to His Word.
