Jesus doesn’t marry His own body. His bride is a body of believers with Christ as the head. Like a man who is head of his wife.

Don’t make it so difficult. A man doesn’t marry his own body but is head of his wife and the two become one flesh.

I’m totally at peace with the church being the bride of Christ. This truth is easy to see as I have shown you. The early church agrees, the commentaries agree, so rest in the truth that as members of the church of Christ, we will be cared for to the utmost of care by our Savior, Jesus Christ. We can have intimacy with the one who reigns with the Father over all creation for ever and ever. Amen!
