     A bill to hold Big Tech to account

    Social Media needs to respect people’s rights to free speech and freedom to believe what they want. If they deplatform you because they disagree with you, then they can be sued. This seriously needs to happen before the Ministry of Truth wields so much power it will be impossible to fight back.

    Zuckerberg knocks Twitter for fact-checking Trump, says private companies shouldn’t be ‘the arbiter of truth’

    Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has called out Twitter for attaching a fact check to a tweet from President Trump, telling Fox News’ Dana Perino that privately-owned digital platforms should not act as the “arbiter of truth.”

    “We have a different policy than, I think, Twitter on this,” Zuckerberg told “The Daily Briefing” in an interview scheduled to air in full on Thursday.

    President Trump has just categorized Twitter as a publisher

    Imagine if your phone company edited your phone calls, blocked them, or shadow banned you. Well that is what Twitter does. They edit content by engaging in censoring and blocking any view they disagree with.

    Trump has now removed their protection from liability which gave them a competitive advantage over other media companies. Twitter was dumb to abuse this competitive edge, and now they lose it. They are a publisher like other media companies and open to lawsuits. Good Trump.

    T8……I agree, media can greatly  influence politics by media profiling, it’s done by nearly all of our news media here,  and they should all be held  completely libal for the damage they do.  They will often just quote a sentence,  or parts of it , leaving out the complete context of what was actually being said.  People are very gullible and they know it, so they use that to decieve people to favor the candidates they want elected.

    Proclamer,  yes we as a Nation  will continue to decline, down the path of socialism , this election has shown the world the true state of our Republic.  We are split as a people, with this election the decay will continue. WE ARE NO LONGER THE NATION WE WERE. “SAD” . 

    Prophesies are being fulfilled. The great Babylon is falling and the rest of the world with it.  We need to be looking for a New Government , that will soon start to rulling the world, the Kingdom of Jesus and the Saint’s and hope we may be in it.

    Trump could still win this if court cases are favorable. If not, he has the option to run in 2024 I believe.

    But as one senator put it, will a Republican ever be president again. It seems clear that the Democrats will use mail in ballots again as it delivered them many extra votes.
