Did God create all things through the Lord Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ Stained Glass Window

Many are those who deny that Jesus Christ was the first to be with God and by extension, that God created all things through him. Obviously Atheists deny this. But many so-called Believers also deny this.

What does the Bible say. Did Jesus exist before all things and did God create all things for him? Scripture is actually very clear on this. It says that God created all things through the Word, the Son, and the Lord Jesus Christ. And we know that these three are not three different persons. Clearly, they are the same person who we know as the Jesus Christ.

  1. The Word. See John 1:3 & 14
  2. The Son. See Hebrews 1:1-2 & Colossians 1: 15-20
  3. Lord Jesus Christ. See 1 Corinthians 8:6

If God created all things through Jesus Christ the Word, The Son of God, and the Lord, then he must have preceded all things. It seems that the Son is in the unique position between God and Man and God and creation.

John 1:1-3 & 14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made….

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Revelation 19:13
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

Hebrews 1:1-2
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Colossians 1: 15-20
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Anyone who teaches that Jesus Christ did not exist with God in the beginning of creation is denying what the scriptures teach. Anyone who denies that God created all things through the son of God is also denying what the scriptures teach.

Proclaimer…….Question remains to all of us,   who is our “first love ” supposed to be?

The perfect Trinitarian question,  but no Trinitarians here seem able to respond to it. Why is that?  , could it be they have made Jesus their “first love”?, In stead of God the Father?
Rev 2:4   The letter to the church at Ephesus ,   Pretty well explains the result of doing that. IMO

    No!

    God created everthing by himself

However, He did create all things with His only begotten son in mind, even as a loving married couple will prepare for a child

Sonofgod…….Your are “exactly” right!   Jesus represents, God the Fathers fulfilled, “PURPOSE”,  FOR ALL OF HIS WHOLE PHYSICAL CREATION,   it was in the mind of God  before anything was ever created in this physical world, and  universe.

Jesus “never existed’,  before his birth, on this earth, except in the Plan and Will of God the Father.  Jesus is not the word of God “himself”but, the word of God “fulfilled “, which “GOD”,  THE FATHER gave us, through the ” PROPHETS”.   THAT “WORD”, WAS FULFILLED IN THE ” the birth of the”FLESH MAN” Jesus Christ .  The is exactly when the “WORD OF GOD”, came to be fulfilled , it was the birth of the ” FLESH MAN”, “JESUS CHRIST ” .

YOU got it right Sonofgod,  this is how we can tell who is of God and who aren’t.
Check out on….You Tube, the “21st Centrury Refermation”.  And see how much you agree with them brother.

Proclaimer…..still tweaking the scriptures I see,  Rev 19:13  says he is “called”, the word of God,  it doesn’t say he “is” The word of God as you falsely and very cleverly left out. There is a   Big difference  of being ” Called” something and actually being it. We call a jet airplane a “bird” but to us we know the truth, that is just an attribute, a bird flies and so does a airplane.  But YOU seem to see it as saying it’s a real bird right?

Here is what Jesus said, about the word he was telling us, not me,  “the words I am telling you are “NOT” mine, but the words of him who sent me”.  Now tell us how that fits in with your ,  Jesus “IS”.  the actual word of God,  Scenario.

peace and love to you and your Proclaimer………..end

    Hi to all

    COLOSSIANS 1

[12]Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

[15] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

[16] 👉For by(en) him were all things created,

that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:

all things were created 👉BY(dia) HIM, and👉 FOR(eis) HIM:
[17] And he is 👉BEFORE all things, and 👉BY(en) HIM all things consist.

[18] And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
    [19] For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
    [20] And, having made peace through the blood of his cross,👉BY HIM (dia) to reconcile all things unto himself;

👉BY (dia)HIM, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

    …..

The most intimate relationship that can exist between a father and a son existed between them (FATHER AND SON). They conferred on the creation of man. God says, ‘Let us make man in our image.’ Gen. 1:26. To whom did God speak? – To his Son, – “Let us make the man. The whole story shows this fact. Verses 3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24. God has spoken, and the Son has done the work.” and the Son the Master Builder.” HJ Farman, Review and Herald, January 20, 1891

This is purely the NT writers’ imagination and the Christian dogma. There is nothing available in the Hebrew Bible to support it.

I would think that, you , as a skeptic, would be merely skeptical, but with that statement, you write as if you are an authority and know for sure of what you wrote.

I’m skeptical about you being a skeptic. To me you come across as someone who is just full of hot air opinions.

The Bible tells us that the mystery of God is Christ

I agree with LU here gadam.

You just offer opinions with little to backup what you say.

But you are right about Jesus not being mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. Neither was John the Baptist or James, Peter, or John. I wonder why? Lol.

Anyway, we both know that you have rejected Jesus as the Christ. You are free to do that as you have free will.

But there is this thing called mystery. God’s plan is a unfolding mystery available to people who belong to him.

    Colossians 2:2–3
“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”.

‘O really’,   You said Jesus “IS”,  The word of God.  And when I said you tweeted up the scripture by leaving out the words he is, “called” the word of God , you say it was just my own opinion, Well let’s see ok?

Rev 19:13………“and he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and his name is, “CALLED”,  the word of God”.

Show us where it says ‘ he “IS” the word of God.  Saying I never address scriptures is just another of you false accusations of people here .

Proclaimer,  where did Adam ever say he Rejected Jesus as being anointed of God at.  He may reject the false representation of modern Christianity of Jesus, but so do I , I also reject how you and others  falsely interpret our scriptures here, at times,   but that does not mean Adam or I,  reject the real Jesus written of in our scriptures.

Jesus said clearly that “many” would come in his name,  saying he was the Christ and “Deceive” MANY.  why?,  because they are preaching a “different” Christ Jesus then what the “true”scriptures teach.   Many doesn’t mean just one or two,  but a lot in fact most all , including you to some degree, IMO.

To all…… Jesus “never”, did a signal miracle, by himself,  He couldn’t no more then you or I could either.   Does this shock you?  If you “truly’ believed Jesus you would know that.

Jesus clearly said that,  “the son of man can do “nothing” of himself”,  question is how many here ‘truly’ believe him ? All who have made Jesus their God can not believe what he said, can you?

God created the universe through his Son.

God created the universe through Jesus Christ.

God created the universe through THE Word.

He was with God in the beginning.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

He returns and is called the Word of God.

How much more proof do you need. Lol. It is overwhelming.

Further, if Jesus is CALLED “The Lord, then he is the Lord right.

HE is called the Word of God, then he is the Word of God.

Similarly, he is called Jesus, so he is Jesus.

    Simple stuff.

Amazed that I need to explain this.

You have been debunked by the way.

Proclaimer……I see you still don’t understand what the Greek word  used there means,  ( dia). Means for the reason of. Another words, the reason God created everything by himself and alone, was for the purpose of “perfected mankind” which Jesus was,  he is the prototype of what God had in mind , when he created everything buy “himself”  and alone, on this earth including all his human creation, including Jesus.
Had you truly understood the Old Testament scriptures you would have know that.
You haven’t debunked anything I have said, you only add to your own confusion.  As I have said before your halfway in and halfway out, see where that ends .  It won’t be, “LOL” , I guarantee you that.

Here is a little tidbit for you to chew on

Isa 44:24…..“this says the LORD, your redeemer, and He that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that  makes “ALL THINGS”; that stretches forth the heaven’s “ALONE”; that spreads  abroad the earth by “MYSELF”.

Isa 42:5……“this says God, the LORD ,  He that “created” the heavens and stretched them out; He that spread fourth the earth, and that which comes out of it; He that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein.”

Proclaimer you have not one scripture that shows any activity of Jesus before his birth on this earth , not so much as even one , in all the Old Testament.   Yet you and other blind guides, attribute The lord our God as doing everything through or by Jesus, and a preexisting Jesus  at that, where not so much as a single word in our Old Testament scripture even mentions it.  The only one debunked here is you and those who preach the same thing you do, imo.

peace and love to you and yours Proclaimer……….gene

Reread Colossians 1, you will see that it is very clear. God through his Son created everything.

…..Who( Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
[16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created

👉 by him, and for him:
