Quote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 12 2006,01:57)Hi sscott, No conflict. Interesting this verse was quoted by the accusers of Jesus. The Father did by His Spirit which was in Christ and spoke through Christ in prophecy.Isn't that assuming something that is not there? Jesus said He would raise Himself.

Hi David,I would assume that you also do not “say” the days of the week or most of the months in our calander since they have pagan roots. Do you follow a different calander since so much of the one we use today has pagan roots?

Hey worshippingjesus,I hear what you are saying but this is the verse I was talking about:6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”

Quote 6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.”So the begettal preceded the sending into the world. WorshippingJesus,How does this verse that Nick posted fit with the Trinity doctrine?

also what about this verse. It says Yahew was walking in the garden.8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

Quote Jehovah is the Source of even the stars, our sun being just a medium-sized star. Would you think of trying to have a close physical encounter with the sun? Hi David,I don't think that analogy applies. The scripture I posted says Moses saw the back of God. I'm just wondering if it's the Father.

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ Nov. 08 2006,00:44)Quote I would say they both are sending the Spirit. The Father always hears Jesus (see lazarus). Jesus will “pray the Father” and the Father will send Him. So the Father is sending the Spirit because of the Son… therefore they are both sending the Spirit. That's how I understand it. Amen! Could it…[Read more]
