Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a sabbath day- things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

Thank you Jodi.
Jesus was a man like us not a preexistent divine being. Born under the Law He showed it was possible to completely fulfil it thus pleasing his Father. He was reborn of water and the Spirit at the Jordan showing us the way we should follow into the kingdom.

Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath.

The saints are not taken to heaven but to meet the Lord in the Air to partake of the Wedding feast.
Meanwhile the great Tribulation will happen on earth and then the saints will return to earth to reign and rule with the Lord Jesus for 1000 years.

The Father was in Christ from the anointing at the Jordan. God spoke and worked through the Son. When tThomas saw Jesus he knew he was seeing his Lord AND his God.

The trinity is essentially a catholic false doctrine. Other denominations may protest that they are not catholic but if they share in her false teachings they are part of her and the differences are merely cosmetic.
come out of her my people.

If you have been wrongly baptised then do it right.
Time is short folks and you do not want to die in your sins.
Paul rebaptised those who needed it in Acts 19.

I sought baptism in the name of Jesus 40 years ago having read the Bible and learned from it that it was necessary. At the time my wife chose not to but she said that she would one day. She became sick 18months ago and I asked her again.
She said she was baptised as a baby and could not understand why it was necessary but she agreed. A week after…[Read more]

There is one baptism. It is in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. It is not magic or just an ordinance so baptising infants belongs to falsehood, not truth.
All the baptisms recorded in the New Testament are in the name of Jesus. None are recorded as being in the name of a trinity. There is no confusion in scripture. Test all…[Read more]

Yes Gene,
The reverse of the coin. The law reveals sin only.
And we now have the new circumcision- true baptism in the name of Jesus- col2.11

Therefore let the house of Israel know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ-this Jesus whom you crucified..

Therefore repent and return , so that your sins may be wiped away in order that times of refreshment may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send you Jesus, the Christ appointed to you, whom heaven must receive till the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient…[Read more]

Sure enough tithing and sabbath keeping are tossed into the requirements.
The Son of God is Lord of the Sabbath.
In him we have fulfilled all the requirements of the Law.

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those under the Law so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
Rom 3.19
Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness.

Accepting the Lord Jesus as Saviour does not save anyone.
He is Lord of all and he said you must be born again- of water and the Spirit.

Adam did die that day.
A day is as 1000 years in God’s time and Adam lived 930 years. Gen 5.4Nick posted a new activity comment 2 years, 7 months ago
The seventh day rest spoken of in Heb 4 is the 1000year reign of the Lord Jesus on earth. It is entered now by rebirth of water and the Spirit.
His brothers will reign and rule with him .Nick replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 2 years, 7 months ago
Yes Gene,
Jesus did the hard yards and if we follow him into rebirth of water and the Spirit as demonstrated in Acts we are joined with him in death and can know that like him we will be resurrected when he returns, or taken up alive if we have yet to taste death.,

None could enter the kingdom till Jesus died, was taken into glory and the Spirit poured out on his brothers and sisters.

Romans is written to the saints not the unsaved masses.
Rom 1.7
To all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints.
Specifically it was written to the new Jewish converts who believe in God but were struggling to accept Jesus Christ. Paul was striving to wean them from reliance on the Law to Christ.
Believe in God. Believe also in…[Read more]
