This was a very informative article on the Matrix. As someone who was delivered from the new age movement , I see this Matrix movie a liitle differently. Satan will come up with several “counterfeit Gospels” . The Matrix is a perfect example of a counterfeit Gospel. You are right that there are several similarities with the Gospel and the matrix. However your article I believe would sway one to think that Neo and the others are types, as in old test comparing to new. Just the opposite is true . Everything in this movie is counterfeiting Gods real stuff to deceive and prepare people for the great deceiver the anti-christ. every character in the movie has a demonic feel to it, it is hard to tell the good guys fron the bad guys, It reminds me of the taoism ying and yang philosophy. good=bad bad=good dark=light to finally satan=God

Morpheus is a counterfeit john the baptist, Morpheus really is the false prophet
Neo is the antichrist, does not the bible tell us that he will fake being resurrected
neo moving from building mid-air has nothing to do with faith, it has to do with “feeling” and the antichrist will be doing counterfeit signs and wonders, counterfeiting Peter walking on water.
