Mike…..there is not a single scripture that “says” Jesus “existed before Abraham ” not one. Lets just start with that first,
There is no single scripture that says that Jesus was created in the time of the Roman Empire either.
Other scriptures completely debunk you Gene. What you say is false. God created all things through the following:
- The Word. See John 1:3
- The Son. See Hebrews 1:1-2 & Colossians 1: 15-20
- Lord Jesus Christ. See 1 Corinthians 8:6
You have no answer for these scriptures, only excuses. And you do realise that liars do not inherit the Kingdom of God right?
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.Hebrews 1:1-2
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.Colossians 1: 15-20
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
Yes but the Word “WAS” GOD, NOT JESUS, as you falsely preach. The word ‘JESUS” appears no where in that statement of John. It like you can just fill in the blanks by installing your own words, where ever you people want.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God. The Word was divine. Although he existed in the form of God, he emptied himself, came in flesh, lived as one of us, died for our sin, rose from the dead, and is in the glory he had with the Father before the world began. In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was divine.
