So you teach that Luke 2:11-14 is not saying that this day was born a savior which is Christ the Lord.
for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior,
Does the above scripture mean that on that day, he was NOT born a savior?
Please answer.

You’re welcome! The word “Lord” is used towards Jesus in 3 different ways in the NT.
#1 as “sir”
#2 as “master/king”
#3 as the divine Lord.
Jesus, according to His flesh was made both Lord (#2) and Christ. David called Him Lord because He was his promised descendant to sit on the throne of David in the eternal kingdom.

Revelation 17:14
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”

Nick, true, the Son is not the Father, and my post doesn’t suggest that He is.
In Isaiah 8, the LORD of hosts who is the stone of stumbling is not the LORD who is speaking. He is someone other than the one who is speaking to Isaiah. The Father is not sent as the stone of stumbling, the Father is not the cornerstone of the spiritual…[Read more]

Peter identifies Jesus as the stone of stumbling written about in scripture. In the OT scripture referred to, the Lord God calls the Lord of Hosts the stone of stumbling. See that here:
1 Peter 2:4 regarding Jesus as a living stone.
4And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in…[Read more]

Nick, actually my “dogma” is scriptural. There is one God and one Lord together as YHVH. Deut 10:17
YHVH says it there.
Jesus tells us Himself, that they are one.
Deuteronomy 10:17
“For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a…[Read more]

Does Father God have a mind of His own? Does He have a will of His own? Does He have emotions? Does He have wisdom? Does He have power? Does He exist? Does He have a personality? Does He have a soul? Does He have a spirit? Does He have a heavenly body? Does He have knowledge? Does He desire relationship?

you said:
Now the Lord is the Spirit. We will come to you.
He who remains in the teachings has both the Father and the Son.
Our fellowship is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ are nothing of his.
Those words are true. The Spirit is a unity of the Father and the Son! They each have…[Read more]

Hi LU,
Welcome back.
My feeling is that we should not apply human concepts to what happens in the spiritual realm.
We should not follow the samples and of others because we fear God
God does not call Himself a PERSON.
It is a theological term men have applied rather dangerously to…

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ and the Spirit of the Father.
Scripture teaches clearly that Jesus is the Christ. It often doesn’t even mention Jesus and says, ‘Christ’ only, but is still clearly referring to Jesus.
Romans 5:6
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. If the Holy Spirit…[Read more]

Hi T8,
So at his baptism he was NOT anointed by the Spirit for ministry in your OPINION?
If you think the angel that declared that this day the messiah was born, he is the Lord, and that somehow negates what happened at his baptism, then it is you who has a conflict in his beliefs.
I believe both. He was born the messiah and he was…[Read more]

Hi Gene,
How do you account for Jesus living a sin-free life
for “the first 30 years” of his life. before he was
baptized with the spirit of his father?I don’t think he can.
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God…[Read more]
