Hi Ed,
Not convinced that Is 33 was written personally to you.
But you claim you are also mentioned in scripture as well?
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi TC,
God does not take back His Spirit from those who walk in it.
Those in the bosom of Abraham, and those in Christ sleep.

Hi TC,
David pleaded with God that He not take His Spirit from him.
But you think our God does that to all the anointed ones at death?
Or could it be you do not understand the unity that is promised in Jn 17?
‘What God has joined together let no man put asunder’
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi TC,
But you have got offered no scriptural support for your ideas that Ecc 12 refers to the Holy Spirit
and that the Holy Spirit is removed from the anointed ones at death.
Surely you would not go beyond divine revelation.2jn9?
What is your foundation if not scripture?
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi TC,
Scripture is extremely malleable and can be made to support anyone’s ideas.
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi TC,
Sorry. But you are moving away from simplicity to form your own strange teachings.
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi TC,
It s quite wrong to assume that the spirit in Ecc 12 refers to the Holy Spirit.
It applies to all men and few have the Holy Spirit.

Hi Gene,
If the Spirit lives in your soul and your body dies you are still alive in the eyes of God.
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Gene,
Yes the Spirit can be in us.
Do you think the Spirit stays separate from us?
or does the Spirit, if allowed, transform us from within and come into unity with us?
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Gene,
So you argue too with the Spirit in Peter.
’having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit; in which he went and made proclamation
to the spirits in prison, who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the time of Noah…’
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Gene,
When you understand life in the Spirit of eternal life begins now you should understand what Jesus means.
‘God is the God of the living. Abraham’ ‘Isaac and Jacob are alive to God.’
‘Some standing here will be alive when I return.’
‘Those who live and believe in me will never die.’
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Gene,
To DIE COMPLETELY is a new concept.
The SPIRIT OF LIFE CANNOT DIE so you would have to say the Spirit left him too.

Hi Anthony,
Gehenna was created for the devil and his angels, not for man.
Hades is just a place of waiting.
Soothsayers are everywhere comforting fearful mankind but we need to take heed of the warnings.
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Anthony,
All have sinned. The wages of sin is death.
Those who have suffered and died for the sake of the gospel did not work in vain.
NickHassan replied to the topic Firstborn of/over all creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 years, 7 months ago
Hi Anthony,
Calling Abraham your FATHER is a problem.
Those who did so with Jesus were told instead their father was the devil.
God is Father of all men and all who came before Jesus were as thieves and robbers.

Hi Anthony,
God wants all to be saved but He has sent His Son to be the door.
He is love and His ways are merciful to those who are merciful.
Some will be surprised to find salvation is theirs, but not all.

Hi Anthony,
The ASK teaching on the rich man (Judah) and Lazarus(Eleazar) is very useful.
The current ASK leaders rightly do not accept trinity teaching as of God.
But they profess Universal Salvation and the deification of man.

Hi Anthony,
Your quotes are from the Associates for Scriptural Knowledge site?

Hi Anthony,
Gene and Jodi are quite limited in their appreciation of some spiritual things, like us all.
The Sadducees also rejected much of the truth and Pharisees suffered other forms of blindness
Acts 23.6
But perceiving that one group were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, Paul began crying out in the Council.
‘Brethren I am a Phar…[Read more]
