Perhaps some of the apostles were aware of the man from Nazareth being confused with the anointed man after the Jordan, the Word made flesh.

John and Paul in particular made special efforts with Paul almost always referring to him as the Christ, or Christ Jesus or Jesus Christ.

It says CHRIST Jesus.
