Hi david,
Science is based on what can be seen.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
A blind man said
“Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me”
The response from Jesus was unscientific
“Receive your sight. your faith has made you well”

Hi david,
If science does not admit the possibility of miracles
it is not true science.
NickHassan replied to the topic Jesus merely a man, God, a god, an Angel, Son of God, what does the bible teach? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 11 years, 1 month ago
Hi UMB5,
So should what you see as implication be taught as fact?
Do not be personally offended but tell us why Jesus Christ is not a trumpet.

Hi david,
So carnal education destroyed your faith?
As well as JW theology.
NickHassan replied to the topic MIRACLES in the forum Scriptural Teachings 11 years, 1 month ago
Hi david,
Heb 11.6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him. For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hi David,
Do you have any faith in God at all?
Have the JWs destroyed it?
NickHassan replied to the topic MIRACLES in the forum Scriptural Teachings 11 years, 1 month ago
Hi david,
Yes the theoretical approach to the power of God is considered valid by many religious.
But knowing the Lord God of Israel is the best way of resolving it.

Hi KW,
The sabbath was made for man.
Can you pick and choose what aspect of the Law you wish to submit to when you join the Jewish religion?
NickHassan replied to the topic Mystery of the Jews in the forum Prophecy 11 years, 1 month ago
Hi KW,
God can give you the robe of righteousness of the Son.
Our own righteousness is as filthy rags

Hi KW,
And a very weak one in comparison with the teaching work of the Spirit.

Hi KW,
Jonah died and went to the home of the dead.
But as an anointed man of God he was yet alive in the Spirit.
Like Jesus he found that death for those joined to God is not a big deal.
Death where is thy sting?

Hi KW,
Neither Jew nor gentile is relevant any longer for those in Christ.
Why would you try to divide Christ?

i KW,
So that is all you need to proclaim it as truth?
NickHassan replied to the topic MIRACLES in the forum Scriptural Teachings 11 years, 1 month ago
Hi KW,
So you say that the great white is the fish despite it’s savage ways and relatively small size insufficient for holding any man.
You say Jonah did not die despite the SIGN OF JONAH being used as an example of the death and resurrection by Jesus.
You speak of HIBERNATION instead which is a new idea that I am unaware of occurring with any…[Read more]

Hi KW,
Indeed God uses many tools to draw men to the blessed light.
But it is the light that is meant to take over from there.
Reason is insufficient as a source of spiritual light

Hi KW,
Yes they thought that intellectual acceptance was enough and they could continue to walk in the darkness of their minds.
It is a common idea now.

Hi davidl,
This may help you in your struggle with the idea of spiritual unity
Eph 5 31
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.
This mystery is great ;but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church”

Hi KW,
Eph 4.17f
So this i say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the gentiles do in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of god because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart..”
