What difference did the anointing make to the man from Nazareth?

What would the man from Nazareth be able to do or preach without that anointing?

The apostles did not carry a book with them when they preached.

They let the Spirit speak through them just as Jesus Christ did.

You could deduce it is Jesus Christ but it it not stated.
