You seem to think he is a another God who gave up his powers.

Scripture never uses the term in this way.

The Spirit of God is one and not divisible in the way humans see things.

When God gives of His Spirit he does not lose that Spirit but He remains in eternal unity with His Spirit.

This speaks of the anointed one Jesus Christ not the Spirit.

But that is a shared sonship.

It could also be said he is the Son of Mary, David, Adam etc.

The term Son of God refers to exclusive sonship.

That sonship is of the Spirit.
