The last Adam BECAME a life giving Spirit.
Now the Lord is The Spirit.
if anyone does not have the Spirit he does not belong to him.

Why do you and everyone else answer different questions then the one that is asked?
I did not ask if the last Adam became a life giving spirit, I asked…
Why is Jesus called the second Adam if you say he came from Adam???

Jesus Christ is the firstborn of the new creation and is your hope.
Like Adam who was created sinless he became by grace an overcomer to be sinless too (rev3)
Born of woman (Job 25) and reborn of the Spirit of God we can follow this anointed man.

Why is Jesus called the second Adam if you say he came from Adam???
Because he became sinless like Adam was created, is this your answer?

The sons of God are led by the Spirit of God.
    Do you know the Spirit?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8
You do not understand do you.

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

Perhaps you do not understand that God created all things through the Word and God created all things through the son of God. And that the son of God is called the Word of God. He was born in the City of David as the messiah. I think you do not want to understand this. Yes I understand this and other things. I am not all knowing of course, God is.…[Read more]

The love of God our Father is number one.
The second command is the love of our fellow man.
Humanism substitutes the second for the first and is evil.

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      That is no excuse.

Love your fellow man as you love yourself.

Perhaps you don’t love yourself because can anyone here say that the fruit of your life is love?

Jesus is a man conceived in and born of a woman with no advantages over anyone else.
What made him extraordinary was the fact God chose him and enabled him to demonstrate His powers.
Without the Spirit enabling him he would have been unable to do miracles or speak the words of God, and neither would the brothers.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @t8
Indeed the Spirit of Christ came from the Father and worked and spoke through the man Jesus.
If you knew the Spirit this would not be so mysterious for you.

You still judge by your own standards.
    Dig deeper.

John says that those who love are born of God, not those who say they are and those who judge others day and night harshly. the new birth that gives you a heavenly inheritance is signified by the fruit of love in a person’s life. Adherence to doctrine is not enough Nick. You need to be transformed from the old bitter man to the new man made in the…[Read more]

Yes you need to listen to the Spirit that wrote the words through men.
Reliance on your own understanding is advised against.

When was the body of Jesus prepared? Did you not understand what I wrote? During his 30 odd years of life before the Jordan.
We know that when he went to be baptised by John, John tried to prevent it happening saying rather that he himself needed to be baptised by Jesus but did so to fulfill all righteousness. John’s baptism was of r…[Read more]

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Thy Word.
With all my heart I have sought Thee; do not let me wander from Thy commandments.
Thy Word I have treasured in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.
    Ps 119.9

He was made clean while growing up and maturing under the discipline of his Father.
For it is for discipline that you endure: God deals with you as with sons; for what Son is there that his father does not discipline?

Following your vain imagination leads you further into Gnosticism.
The woman of folly is boisterous, she is naive and knows nothing, and she sits at the doorway of her house,
on a seat by the high places of the city, calling to those who pass by, who are making their paths straight,
‘Whoever is naive, let him turn in here’
    And to him who…[Read more]

I urge you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your BODIES a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Of course the death of the Saviour did not magically free all men from sin.
We must follow the path of faith he laid out to share the Eternal Spirit.
