Hi Ed,
No, because the numbers on page 17 are just a garbled distracting nonsense and shouldn’t be there. The page starts off with: “Jesus said if you are ashamed of me in front of my Father I will be ashamed of you”. Delete all of the numbers and words thereafter (on page 17). Apart from the first 19 words, you will have a blank page.…bodhitharta replied to the topic I Invite you all to Ramadan in the forum Other Faiths 9 years, 6 months ago

Hi Ed,
I have found personally I have learned patience, but in the process, I have lost something.
I think situations over the years have changed me, for good, and bad.
I put up with verbal…[Read more]bodhitharta replied to the topic in the forum Who is this Jesus? 9 years, 7 months ago
All,
I’m not a trinitarian (or binitarian). I don’t believe that Jesus is God, or that the there’s three (or two) Gods in one. But I do believe in having a living relationship with the son of God. If we don’t, it will be to late, and he can then say “I never knew you”, despite all we might do ” in his name “.BTW, we can do things “in h…

I do not love Muhammad more than Jesus so being around when either died sure would have been distressing
Thought you said Jesus didn’t die!
During the time people thought it occured. Jesus was not crucified or Killed. Praise God!

@miia Greetings Mia:
Worshiping anything or anyone as God other that God Himself is idolatry.
God has revealed to the church through the Apostle Peter that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. And so, why not leave it at that.
Jesus did say that “he who has seen him has seen the Father”, and yes, we have seen God’s character made…[Read more]

I believe that there are signs in the sun and the moon now, in particular the Tetrad period we are currently in.Since that began, this period of time has seen huge changes to the Middle East and possible threats to Israel with wars and rumours of wars. Possibly even a Sunni Shia War.
I think it is significant times we are living in. As…[Read more]

@Miia & others
Adding the “a” (as the JW “New World Translation” does) and turning the subject (The only true God and His spoken word) into a second smaller god seems wrong somehow. Since when is someones spoken word a separate being? Just as the Spirit.
An error is made on both sides of the argument.
JWs say: ‘a god’

I think I agree with you.
Yeah!
The Ten Commandments are still standing, and if anything they have become “harder” (Adultery is lustful thoughts, murder is hating a brother, etc,.) though not harder because it is on our hearts. We obey, after salvation, because we love God and His Son and because we love our neighbor, not because we have…

@miia 🙂 sorry to have misspelled your name…my glasses need to be checked, ha.
you asked:
Do we both agree the Ten Commandments were not “done away with”?
Very good question. Here are my thoughts:
I agree that the ten commandments have not been done away with; they have been fulfilled. Jesus fulfilled them and by that and His becoming the…[Read more]
