Nick,How can Jesus be a real ordinary human being if his father was the Holy Spirit  – I believe that the trinity doctrine needed for there to be a virgin birth because for Jesus to be God the Son he could not have a mortal father, and a follow on of that is Mary needed to be sinless as well (hence the Roman Catholic immaculate virgin Mary).
