I do not know if I could figure out that there was but one God from nature itself.
God is eternal, if not someone preceded him, thus he is not God. So did two God begin at the same time? What was before them. Do you need nature to know there is one God @kerwin? No, just simple irrefutable logic that we would all do well to listen to.

Do you plan on changing body type after you die and go on to everlasting life? Specifically, you have an earthly body now, are you hoping to have a heavenly body someday which is different than the one you have now? If so, how will it be different?

The spirit and soul of the Son is what would have taken on flesh. The spirit and soul had always existed, imo.

What do you believe qualified the Son to take away the sins of mankind?

The flaw here is that this just as broken as implying God can be tempted by evil as a being is either one kind of another not two kinds at one therefore Jesus is either 1) human as Scripture states, God, or a hybrid but not both the God kind and the human kind.
The eternal spirit of the Son indwells a flesh body which he…[Read more]

Jewish religion states the messiah has not come yet. Any well respecting Jew of this era will tell you the same. They will say all the disciples & Christ were false prophets & they would not be considered a Jew. As times change so do the gods that can be found written in stone. What would make you think that yours hasn’t been ta…[Read more]

I don’t see anything from you except opinion. I have given you many scriptures that defend YHVH as two who are one, the Father and the Son. You don’t seem to have the faith to see that the Lord of lords who is with the God of gods as YHVH could become flesh, resist temptation, walk rightly, suffer and die and be resurrected (for you and…[Read more]

I have to disagree Kerwin. Once the disciples turned to Jesus, they no longer were Jews, Messianic yes, a true Jew no. You know well enough they are still waiting for their messiah to come. That is their faith. However I do agree that there are too many rituals & traditions held by many religions that are just smoke and mirrors. What…[Read more]

Let’s put the term Godhead aside since we don’t agree on a definition. Obviously we understand things very differently.
I see YHVH defining Himself as the God of gods and the Lord of lords. I assume that you can also see that from this passage here:
Deut 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a…[Read more]

Jesus is not only the King of kings but He is the Lord of lords. The OT Jews understood the Lord of the sabbath as YHVH, you realize this right? The OT Jews also understood the Lord of lords as YHVH, you realize this too, correct? The NT identifies the Lord of the sabbath as Jesus and that the Lord of lords as Jesus. So, that means that I…[Read more]

Well, your understanding of the term “Godhead” is not the same as mine. I use Godhead to mean those in the position of divine and supreme rule and authority over creation.

I said:
They are two different beings and together they are the one God, YHVH in the fullest sense. YHVH is both, the Father and the Son, the God of gods AND the Lord of lords. One is seen in the OT and NT and one is unseen.
Then you responded with:
The flaw is your reasoning is that it introduces the broken teaching that Jesus is…

If you truly believe that James speaks the truth when he declares that God cannot be tempted then you also truly believe that God is not tempted even as we are and yet Scripture claims was.
Yes, I truly believe that God cannot be tempted, that is why YHVH, as the Lord of lords, had to “empty Himself” and agree to be made lower…[Read more]

Then Christ must be the Law of Moses for that is the Spiritual food and drink they ate according to Scripture.
Of course we should read the whole sentence and even that might be best to read in context.
Great idea Kerwin. Now read my whole post and in context (i.e., the reply to Nick).
