Nick,
You are going past point where he is naked to where he is clothed in a indestructible body.
One removes the old cloths and is naked and puts on new clothes that they are not found naked.
In short the naked part of a human comes in the part that is the body that they not be found naked.
The spirit also comes in the flesh so I do not…[Read more]

t8,
In this case you keep claiming s “came in the flesh” which you are cutting from another passage and pasting into Philippians 2: 1-11 to support your interpretation. You do not show enough respect to your follow posters to explain that choice or others you chose to make.
All human being come in the flesh and Jesus will return in the fle…[Read more]

Nick,
You are trying to excuse your behavior and not having yourself cleans from your sins. Confess your sins and God will cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

Nick,
The wisdom of God is beyond foolish reason.
By calling all reason foolish you condemn it.
There is reason that is foolish as it is based on the principles of the flesh as opposed to those of the Spirit but that is not how you have been using it.
Should I go back and reveal other instances of you condemning what God sees as very good?

Gene,
Notice that just like t8, Ed is now avoiding my questions.
I will ask it again just as I have t8 because I miss things at times.

Gene,
They are well aware that Jesus saved us by his actions but they are do not want to admit it even to themselves for then they would be admitting error. It is not even critical to their teachings so it means they have other reasons what they should know is false. We each have to watch that we do not do the same thing.

Lightenup,
If you truly believe that James speaks the truth when he declares that God cannot be tempted then you also truly believe that God is not tempted even as we are and yet Scripture claims was.
To declare Jesus is the one true God means you do not believe either or both of the passages or that Scripture and Jesus is therefore a liar to…[Read more]

Ed
I answered it like I did because I considered is question open to interpretation. I called it disingenuous due to his bias. I then answered it giving two separate interpretations. The first is mine and the second is what I understand his is.
I missed his comment at the end that he would take it as one or I would have used less words.

Ed,
Matthew 1:21Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
This passage speaks of Jesus speaks of Jesus doing the saving in the future.
Do you believe Jesus saved his people from their sins while he was being formed in his…[Read more]

Nick,
I read condemnation because that is in your words. If you do not mean it then perhaps you should consider your words before, during, and even after you write the.4
In the beginning God created humanity as a reasonable creature and saw they were a very good creation and yet you condemn humans for using reason.
In addition you use reason…[Read more]

t8,
Your question lacks genuineness because of your own bias. I have already answered it. You need to go beyond your bias and admit that Jesus saves us through his resurrection from the dead.

t8,
I have to disagree with you since by insisting that Jesus was born the Savior you deny he became the Savior by dying on the cross.
kerwin replied to the topic Was Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem or born at the Jordan? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 8 years, 4 months ago
@t8,
t8,
Are you denying that it is Jesus’ sacrifice that saves those that believe?
Yes or No.
This is the third time I have asked this question. Why are you not answering it if truly believe Jesus was born the Savior in actuality and not just in prophecy?
The last question is rhetorical.

I am having the same trouble with t8 and have had had it with others here on various issues.

Nick,
Hi KW,
The wisdom of God is beyond foolish reason.
Seek the ways of God rather than defending what is of earth.
Once again you condemn reason and so condemn Jesus for using it and show contempt to God who created human a reasoning creature.
Give up your false teachings.

Jael.
I am not following what you are referring to by “strange teachings”. Is it the teachings you listed?
kerwin replied to the topic The Trinity Doctrine is an unnecessary stumbling block in the forum Truth or Tradition 8 years, 4 months ago
Andrew,
In a way of speech God is his Spirit and so is Jesus but then that is a manner of speaking and should not be understood literal just God is Love should not be taken literally as some do. In addition context is important when those words are written.
kerwin replied to the topic Why are some people homosexual? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 8 years, 4 months ago
AndrewAD,
You are seeing what is not in my writing.
God is not a fool so he considers sin in his plan; after all he allows us to choose whether to sin or not and so his plans include our actions.
He does not hand them over to sin that they sin but rather that they consider their actions and perhaps choose to repent and return to him.
kerwin replied to the topic Why are some people homosexual? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 8 years, 4 months ago
AndrewAD,
Saints fail because they are not yet mature so so lack a portion of faith. The goal is to walk by the Spirit at all times and so stumbling is part of the process of achieving that goal. I will not say everyone stumbles but I will say if one then there is a way to regain one feet and walk once more by the Spirit.
If the walking is…[Read more]
