Marty,I merely at this time am makeing the point that God is not always explicit in what he teaches. He expects us to understand him none the less. To all,God has put my mind to searching out this matter and I conclude the arm of the Lord is the arm of God which manifests in different ways.   This would be equivalent to the arm of the law which is power or might of the law.   The Holy Spirit and Jesus are both manifestation of the might of God but so was Nebuchadnezzar in his time.

I tend to believe there is no “formula”. Jesus was merely instucting his student to baptise new students in his authority. His authority is not seperate that the father's.
