Quote (Arnold @ June 01 2010,19:49)kerwin  Sorry that was a wrong verse that I gave.  It is Rev. 19:13 and 16, yes and you are right, this goes under the Preexisting tread, but I was responding to Simple F.  IreneI know how it is to both make a typo and how to feel the need to make an immediate response. I would like to hear what you believe an…[Read more]

Adam,I agree with your answer to number one but the many traditional so called Jews do not. The teach that decent is only through the mother. They are sometimes so extreme that they will deny that a child born of a Gentile mother and a Jewish father is Jewish. As you pointed out that teaching is not consistent with scripture.I need to do more…[Read more]

Adam,I am not sure what mystical point of view you can use to look at the servant mentioned in Isaiah 53 and believe that servant is Israel.   I will not state there is none, though I have my doubts based on the context but mysticism is often mystifying to me.  I do not argue that Matthew uses literal or even figurative interpretation of the Old T…[Read more]

Adam,I question the honesty of the claims by these so called Jews is also claim Jewishness descends through the mother's side of the family. Here are some questions I like you to answer.1) Does Jewishness descend through the mother's side?2) If the mother is a Jew and the father is a Gentile then what tribe does the child belong to?3) If a child is…[Read more]

Adam.Adam's Source reads:Quote Satan had fully developed into the role of the adversary of God by the end of the Intertestimental period, and plays a dominant role in the New Testament. Maybe yes,  maybe no, as there is no way to prove anything given the evidence we have available in scripture.  In short the religious background that covers the k…[Read more]

Irene,Are you sure you gave the correct address for the scriptures you are using for support from Revelations. Chapter 19 verse 3 sounds like it is speaking of Babylon the Whore and its destruction and 16 is basically stating Jesus in King of everything in heaven and on earth.  Neither support what you are saying.I was curious as this topic is…[Read more]

Dennison,I am of the opinion that God does not actually forget that a person sinned but simply sees it as irrelevant after they have changed their ways.  In fact I do not know if scripture actually states God's forgets our sins.  It does state he will not remember them which appears to be the same thing as forgetting and given the vulgarities of h…[Read more]

Kangaroo Jack,So you hypothosize that Romans 16:20 is to be interpreted litteral and not figuratively even though a litteral interpretation brings it in conflict with the teaching that Satan will be bound for a thousand years among others.Have you tested your hypothosis against scripture?I have my doubts as many scriptures disprove it.The King of…[Read more]

Kangaroo Jack,That means the First Resurection and the Last Resurection has allready occured.  It also means Jesus has returned and everyone missed seeing him in the clouds.  In addition a thousand years have passed during which the Kingdom of Judah-Isreal was reestablished and Satan was bound. I seemed to have missed an awful lot. ???

Adam,Do you read scripture yourself?   I ask this because you keep introducing witnesses whom I can not cross examine.  If you agree with these witnesses then explain why and put it in your own words so you can defend it.  I have already pointed out why it is absurd to believe the suffering servant is the country of Isreal-Judah.  The context of…[Read more]

Adam,You are correct that the Old Testiment does not speak of the of either demons or their king in any great length but you should also know that the mainstream Jews do not rely solely on their biblical cannon.  The reason for Satan is mentioned so little is because it mainly addresses the children of Isreal and their relationship with God and…[Read more]
