Worshipping Jesus,For the most part I believe the points we disagree are not points you addressed in your post. There is one exception to that general statement that I spotted and that is that I believe God stated “”Thou art my Son, This day I have begotten you”.” when Jesus was immersed at the Jordon to reconfirm his commitment to serve God…[Read more]

Rokkaman,You sound arrogant. God looks for reason, Isaiah 1:18. Do you think you are superior to God? Listen to Jesus and be careful what you say.Real reason is truth and thus to reject one is to reject the other. Be careful and use the reason God gave you to test everything you hear and believe for truth.I did enjoy your insight into the eve…[Read more]

David the Professor,I can only go by what God states through his servants and he did promise us through his Son that if we hungered and thirsted for righteousness we will stop sinning, Matthew 5:6.Jesus repeated this in John 8:34-36 telling us that if the Son sets us free from being a servant to sin that we will free indeed and that anyone that…[Read more]

Samuel,That was a couple of good points about Jesus being sent and about him and God being two separate witnesses.

Roccamen,Your hypothesis about David and his men sounds reasonable.Did you perhaps get carried away with making the point about making the written law and spirit of the law and miss what I actually wrote?I believe you inadvertently used “written” when you meant “letter”. Looking at it with that understanding put a new face on the point you were…[Read more]

Roccamen,You do not seem to understand what spiritual law is. If you did then you would know who God is and that I spoke true when I stated he the maker and is entitled to do with us whatever he wishes, Romans 9:21. Your ideas are strange to scriptures as the Law of Mosses is spiritual according to Romans 7:14 while Jesus teaches us that sin c…[Read more]

Adam,Great patience is required in these times but God will provide a way if you are persistent in asking him to and patient in waiting for him. There is much that has to be accomplished in its time and the current time of desolation will in time pass when what it needs to accomplish is accomplished. But as for us we need to seek to righteous…[Read more]

Adam,I did not address why I called the works of historians myths. The reason is there works are sometimes disproven even as they produce them. It is not unknown for these experts to squabble over what they perceive is truth often based on the sparse evidence they can find.It is true that we cannot confirm each word in scripture and that some w…[Read more]

Adam,Historians argue about what has happened in their brief lifetimes. They argue even though they have more evidence available about what occurred in those lifetimes that what occurred 2000 or more years ago. In fact a lot of what Historians spout is their self made myths. I therefore do not regard them as reliable witnesses.

RokkaMan,You make an accusation without providing evidence to support that accusation. I do not see why I should bother defending myself against such an unjust attack considering my explanation was intended for good. If you believe my explanation is flawed then feel free to counter it or ask questions related to those perceived flaws. I did no…[Read more]

Adam,Scripture states the sign will be the maiden giving birth to a child. It does not name the child or the maiden. If you assume maiden means young woman then you are mere stating that a young women giving birth to a child is the sign. Young women were always giving birth to children in that age as well as this so it simply is not much of a…[Read more]

RokkaMan,It is from the heart that sin comes. God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his only child and Abram at the same time had God promise that that particular child would be the father of many nations. Abram did not sin in his heart as one who gives their child to the flames would for he acted in faith. God is God and because he is our ma…[Read more]

David The Professor,I actually prefer to state “teachings” instead of “commandments” though both are correct. I prefer “teaching” because it stresses Jesus in his role of Teacher as opposed to “commandment” which stresses his roll of King. That is my preference because it serves my purpose in what I am about to explain.Jesus teaches us how to…[Read more]

Adam,So you complaint is that the words of Ezekiel 26:22 are true.Ezekiel 36:22(NIV) reads:Quote “Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have…[Read more]

Ed J.,You are arguing that just because Scripture declares Jesus is a human being does not mean he is not a demigod because a hybrid can be labeled according to one of the parts that compose their makeup. That is a sound and valid argument though it is untrue that Jesus is a demigod.I have already pointed out elsewhere that God does not breed in…[Read more]

Pierre,Do you take offense which scripture declares about those not in the new covenant practice deceit with their tongues, Romans 3:13? gollamudi,The teaching that Jesus is a Deity. Half-Deity, or the like is not what scripture teaches.
