Jeremiah 17:5

Many trust in their own teachings and so make man (flesh) their strength.

Only the Spirit is strength though Jeremiah was speaking of faith in God since the Spirit was not yet given.

“he who is of God” is anyone that has the ability to see God’s actions and words. As the Christ Jesus is chief of them and the way by which they can see God.

It is Christ in Paul and others that sow the good seed. It is more likely that he and his agents are the ones that sow the good seed.
