t8,
You are implying Jesus’ sacrifice was in vain.
This a basic tenet of Christianity that Jesus laid down his life for to save believers.
Your words are saying that you do not believe that.

t8,
for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Savior is another prophetic title as Jesus wasn’t the Savior until after he died and was resurrected. It was his calling, as were being both Christ and King.

Nick,
Have you not read Scripture that under the Law both priests and kings were anointed. Jesus is both a high priest ans a king. When Scripture states Jesus was anointed to teach the gospel and do go works then it means he was anointed to preach the gospel and do good works. The title Christ means anointed to be King. Preaching the word of…[Read more]

Danny Dabbs,
Yes, the prophetic sense is how we see it. Nick see the anointing as occurring at the Jordan but I believe that was only the anointing to preach the gospel and to do good works.
I do know that it is as a result of him sacrificing even to sacrificing his own life for other that God rewarded him by giving him a name that is above…[Read more]

Actually they are your interpretation of the facts.
No Kerwin. The scriptures I gave are the facts. Look at the one in the above post. That is fact. And it is also a fact that you are trying to draw me away from what it says. Read it carefully and consider the message that the angel of God delivered. If that angel signed up to Heaven Net…[Read more]

t8,
“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
If you take both of the following passages in the same way then Jesus was king when he was born and then he was made king as a result of his obedience even to dying on the cross. That is a broken doctrine.
Philippians 2:8…

Jesus was made both Lord and Christ. He was born those things and sent into the world to do what those things require. What came first, the utterance of prophecy from a prophet or the prophet?
The word of God comes first. The prophet comes much later. God has had a plan since before the world began and it will prevail.

These words are words of denial. The only argument I see is that you claim Scripture means what you want it to mean. It is a very poor argument…[Read more]

Same words but different meanings. Nick is using a different meaning than what you are hearing and thus you misunderstand him.

Kerwin, why is it then that I am opposed by you, Nick, and Gene when I proclaim exactly the same message as that angel of God?

Nick interprets John’s words spiritually and though I do not think that was John’s intent it is still a true interpretation.
Spiritual interpretation is that Jesus does not literally come and dwell in a believe but rather it is the Spirit he walked by that comes and dwells in a believer.
Jesus speaks in the same manner when he claims I am…[Read more]

Kerwin, I am not sure what you are saying.
I am saying Scripture explicitly claims Jesus was made King because he chose to give his life upon the cross. That occurred well after his birth.
