God in the fullest sense is a unity of two divine beings. One is not just divine but also became man. He cannot be limited by what is limited to someone who is just man or who is just God.
The flaw here is that this just as broken as implying God can be tempted by evil as a being is either one kind of another not two kinds at one…[Read more]

Nick,
Hi KW,
There is no longer Jew nor Greek in Christ Jesus.
You try to sit on the fence.
What passage of Scripture are you basing your words on?

Any well respecting Roman Catholic will tell you that Seven Day Adventists are not Christians and yet does that mean they are not.
In addition John labeled unbelieving Jews as being the synagogue of Satan and false claimants to Judaism. Jesus called his brothers who did not believe children of the devil and not the children of…[Read more]

LU,
I see you do mot know what the opinion means because you are misusing it.
It is quite easy James is not speaking an untruth when God cannot be tempted by evil but you imply he is by saying there is a way for God to be tempted by evil.
That is not an opinion; rather it is the bottom line.

@pinces.
I have to disagree Kerwin. Once the disciples turned to Jesus, they no longer were Jews,
That is absurd.
Jesus never stopped being a Jew, nor Paul. Peter, etc.
Instead you are repeating a teaching a teaching that comes out of the bigotry that certain so called Christians and Jews had for one another during the early centuries. It…[Read more]

Do realize that when Yahweh states he is God of gods he is essentially stating he is the God of those who behave in a godly manner. That is why he also calls the angels gods but when he uses the title he is speaking to Hebrews and commanding them to obey the Law if they want to be his worshipers.
The use of gods is the same as in…[Read more]

Nick,
No, you really do need to either 1) figure out the actual definitions of speculation or 2) stop acting like this is a political arena where a lie is more popular than the truth.
Instead it is deductive reasoning based on the assumption that Paradise mentioned in Revelation 2:7 is the same as the Paradise mentioned in 2 Corinthians 12. It…[Read more]

Jesus stated the Sabbath has been made for man. That is not true of Yahweh though technically it was made for him as well.

I actually looked up the definition of Godhead in a dictionary and other translations do agree with the definition I gave to you. It is more about godliness and obtaining the same than about whether Jesus is God or not. A lot of what those that claim Jesus is God or a god is about godliness and not about Jesus being the one God.…[Read more]

Jesus’ twelve disciples are OT Jews. They did no more than a Russian citizen stops being a Russian.
A fair share of the Jews, especially in the U.S.A., are not OT Jews before. The majority are Reformed or Conservative traditions; both of which it can be said the worship me with their mouths but their hearts are far from me.…[Read more]

Nick,
Remember man that thou art dust and unto dust thou shalt return.
Scripture declares that Eve was made flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone but God did not curse till after he ate of the tree of fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. That is when creation was bound to frustration.

Ed,
Jesus was the savior at the time Simon had seen him, even though Jesus had NOT died on a cross for Simeon’s sins yet – correct? “Yes” or “No” ?
No, Jesus was not the actual savior until he was tested to the point of death by dying on the cross.
Before that he was only foreknown by God to be so; which means it was as good as done already.
kerwin replied to the topic Was Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem or born at the Jordan? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 8 years, 3 months ago
Ed,
My answer is that No, Jesus had not already performed the act that would lead to our salvation. That would come later.

Ed.
You:
Jesus was the savior at the time Simon had seen him, even though Jesus had NOT died on a cross for Simeon’s sins yet – correct? “Yes” or “No” ?
Me:
Do you mean the savior that was promised to come but had not yet saved anyone from their sins?
You:
Was Jesus the savior AT THE TIME Simeon seen him as he said he was? “Yes” or “No”
