Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 22 2014,04:54)Hi KW, Deeper truths were shown not by inference or human logic.God is the God of the living not the dead. Let the dead bury their deadNick,You are making a false dichotomy as human logic is not in opposition to inspiration. What you write is not written in Scripture but is from the desires of your flesh.…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 22 2014,01:19)Hi KW, You need to write Godly wisdom according to human wisdom?Nick,I do not think you know what you are speaking of but I will point out that there is no passage in the OT that states there will be a resurrection of the dead and that is why the Sadducee sect of the true faith did not believe there was one.…[Read more]

Mike,Quote You keep saying the same thing over and over – but you saying it doesn't make it scripturally accurate, or true.YOU YOURSELF told me that Jesus had limitations on earth. So, is that your way of ADMITTING that Jesus was NOT God on earth? YES or NO?The trinitarian teaching is full of breaks which is why many claim it cannot be…[Read more]

Mike,I agree there is a contrast but the contrast is not the same contrast that was in v39. In 39 there are different types of flesh bodies but in v 40-41 it is the splendor of the body that is being contrasted. He even goes on to contrast the glory of one star to another. The only place Paul mentions flesh bodies is verse 39 and then he states…[Read more]

Nick,Infer means hints. Imply means the logical results such as the fact that as God is called the God of Abraham after Abraham is dead means that in some way Abraham is still alive and therefore the verse Jesus quoted implies there is a resurrection of the dead.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 21 2014,05:59)Hi KW, Is this written or your opinion?Nick,It is written that a man who lives by the flesh performs works that are corrupt. Even without being written it is self evident.

Mike,Quote You are in error. Paul said Jesus was existing in the form of God BEFORE emptying himself and being made in the likeness of a human being.Anyone that has the form of God and acts out of that form to empty themselves and take on the form of a servant has the form of God first.

Nick,I believe he has stated in his letters that some things are his opinions but even then we must remember that he has the Spirit that led him in all things.

Nick,A man who lives by the flesh cannot use logic correctly in all cases because his works are corrupt. All that will come from him is a mixture of truths and untruths.A man whose mind is Christlike is able to use logic correctly and so can access the truth of all things.

Nick,The word logic does not appear in Scripture but the the word godly does. Logical reasoning is just a type of reasoning that is used to test things to see if they are both valid and sound. In other words it tests if a claim can be broken. It is not used to test for truth. That is where the Spirit comes in.Scripture does tell us there is…[Read more]

Nick,Then it stands to reason that those whose actions are not like God's have not been been baptized into Christ but instead have just gotten wet.Note: corrected spelling

Nick,I saw nothing in my post that stated Paul's writings were of his own so you are reading more into it than I wrote. The question you should consider is”How did Paul study “God and God's relation to the world”?The two possible answers are one that his studies were based on the principle of men or two that his studies were based on godly…[Read more]
