Nick,I see where you are coming from but perhaps you should consider that clothing yourself with Christ is the same thing as putting on your new self created like God in true righteousness and holiness. In other words putting on white robes superior to even those the prophets in the OT were given.

Nick,I found mentioned several places in the OT and a few more in the NT depending on the version. 1 Peter 4:7-8 is a good one.

Nick,I am going to say that they at the least have to believe Jesus is the Heir of God and that they will receive the promise of being filled with righteousness, the result of walking according to the Spirit.  Jesus makes more points that in the b-attitudes.

Wakeup,In a way what you say is true but the citizens of Athens worship various gods and crafted idols to represent those gods. That was the religion of those pagans.

Carmel,I must be less clever than a child of 6 as I have difficulty understanding your meaning. I do have a short attention span as I have an inclination to get bored easily despite my desires otherwise.

Nick,I do not know of many that worship idols in this age but perhaps you have more knowledge of that subject than me.
