The 9th of Av, Tisha b’Av, commemorates a list of catastrophes so severe it’s clearly a day specially cursed by G‑d. Google it for details, but for starters, the first AND the second Temple were both destroyed on that day.

    There are some unfulfilled prophesies that could happen on the 9th of Av;
Isaiah 3:1-7 The Lord is about to strip J…[Read more]

Time to read your Bible correctly and back to school for arithmetic lessons, Wakeup!
Daniel 9:25 refers to David, an anointed Prince and Jerusalem rebuilt after 7 ‘weeks’. Then another 62 passes before the Crucifixion.
The last ‘week’, is NOT yet fulfilled.

  • Profile picture of keras

Hi J42, I have read some dates, etc about the 7 + 62 weeks. But I don’t see them as a great concern, because at the end of 69, the Anointed Prince is cut off. Then comes the Roman conquest and destruction of 70-135 CE. Daniel 9:26
Therefore the last ‘week’ remains to be fulfilled and we see that in verse 27, which fits with the time periods…[Read more]

King James made sure that his power and authority was embedded in Scripture. The Book itself is dedicated to him, not to God. And you say its purified? You are deluded.
The rest of your posts are a confused jumble. Its impossible to continue a coherent discussion with you.

Sorry wakeup, your posts are a confused mix of scriptures and your opinions.
You say the KJV is ‘purified’? When it was translated from the Textus Receptus, itself a Latin trans from the original Hebrew and Greek. How is that purifying? Of course the KJV has ben revised several times, the New KJV, for example. Which one is pure?
    I have pointed…[Read more]

Wakeup said: I’d stick to the KJV….
I do refer to it quite often, because I know many prefer it, such as yourself. But in no way do I consider it superior. God purified it seven times; where did you get that from?
I challenge you to google – King James Errors. It will shock you to learn the truth of how many errors there are in it.
    The KJV is…[Read more]

I disagree that the 70 weeks of years are completed. As you quote in Daniel 9:27; the last one week occurs in the last seven years before Jesus Returns. Most prophecy scholars agree with this premise.
Daniel 7:25 He will hurl defiance at the Most High and wear down the holy ones of the Most High. He will alter the festive seasons and religious…[Read more]

Once again I strike the brick wall of fixed notions about the end times and the preterism of fulfilment in ancient times.
That combined with the hopelessly inadequate and outdated KJV translation, means we hardly speak the same language.
Please explain how the times, time and a half a time, as Daniel says: that equals 3 1/2 years, you say: fits…[Read more]

Hi J42, We do view the end times differently and I can quote plenty of scripture to support my view.
Who is it that is living in the holy Land when Jesus Returns? It is not and cannot be just the Jews, as at present.
Daniel 7:25 says that the ‘holy ones of the Most High’ are there when the Anti-Christ attacks them. Also, soon after the Sixth Seal…[Read more]

From what I read of your posts elsewhere on this forum and what is a thinly veiled accusation above, I have now finished any further discourse with you. Bye Nick Hassan, may the end times be nice and warm for you.

Whose Land is it?In ancient times, God appeared to Abraham and made a promise to him that his descendants would possess the holy Land, all that area from the Euphrates to the Nile. But he had two sons and the descendants of Ishmael dispute possession with the descendants of Isaac and Jacob. Much blood has been shed over this problem and the…[Read more]
