Yes I believe that we are God's children just as a woman with child is already a mother even though the child is not complete. We await our birth.Rom 8:23  And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, WAITING FOR  ADOPTION, to wit, the redemption of our body.Much like a mother with child we wait for the proper time of our birth.
