Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 02 2007,14:18)Hi KJ, No I do not speak words in my mind before I speak them. Do you?Yes, its called “thinking before you speak”, and it happens almost instantaneously but it still takes form in the mind before it comes out of the mouth. If you don't think before you speak, you must get slapped alot

Nick,You mentioning Satan in relation to the word “god” made me recall something that seems of great interest. We know that Satan had access to the throne of Yahweh (Job 1:6, 2:1). He would have known that one of the 3 persons of the triune God had departed and come to earth and would have known that he had no power over Yahweh. Why then did he…[Read more]

Not3in1,OK, I get it now. Its hard not to go back and forth between “he” and “it” when Jesus is on your mind. After all, he was “he” while with us, and remains “he” forever more from his earthly conception. Thanks for the clarification.

First, some apologies: I do not have time to read the whole thread, I have read several pages but saw circular arguments, and now I'm going to try to be plain as possible because reading some of these “spin” posts hurt my head

Judging by the responses I've seen when many try to show truth, I have only one verse left for this thread:
Matthew 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.”

BTW, maybe I should rename this to “Is Christianity henotheistic”. Sorry for the confusion! From wikipedia
Henotheism (Greek εἷς θεός heis theos “one god”) is a term coined by Max Müller, to mean devotion to a single “God” while accepting the existence of other gods. Müller stated that henotheism means “monotheism in principle and a polytheism in f…

942767,This is the direction I've been heading in this as well. Most people think we must either accept or deny that Jesus is deity. He is called “God” in many places, so this presents confusion. I'm just curious how others feel about this because I think it helps us see who Jesus is, and will enable us to shed the shackles of man-made doctrines.…[Read more]

Acts 11:18 – When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.”Acts 26:20 – but kept declaring both to those of Damascus first, and also at Jerusalem and then…

CO, You're kidding, right?
1 John 1:8-10 – If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. James 5:16 -…

Lighten up? I didn't know I was being harsh. I was just showing, with scripture, that God having flesh is a false belief. If someone has a belief that can be easily disprove biblically then it is good to show them so the truth can be known.Sorry if I seemingly offended someone
