Quote (Nick Hassan @ July 06 2007,14:13)Hi kj,Belief alone does not save demons or men. There are many things written in scripture about the sovereign saving powers of God. If anyone gives us a cup of water because we belong to Christ they will receive salvation in the great white throne judgement after the second resurrection. But our hope is the…[Read more]

Nick,Another gospel? Nah. Have you missed what verse 9-10 say? These are not my words brother, they are in the Bible. If you accuse anyone of another gospel than you better start with Paul. Let's take a look-see at confession of Jesus then, shall we?
Matthew 10:32 – “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My…

Nick,I was merely telling WJ my understanding of the Trinity doctrine. I was not supporting it. Not to be mean, but I can see why you have so many posts on here — you seem to “jump the gun” and not check out what posts are all about. Love ya brother!

Nick, BTW, you DO seem to have some issues with context. You try to run all the way back to Romans 1 to see who the book is for but fail to read the first few verses of chapter 10! Paul was teaching the Roman believers some lessons to pass on to unbelievers!
Romans 10:1-3 – Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their…

Quote (WorshippingJesus @ July 05 2007,18:40)KTell you what, You show us where Jesus said he “was not God” and we will show you were he said he was.Oh and by the way the rule is you have to do it in light of John 1:1 and John 20:28, and Heb 1:8.Also it has to be “Unambiguous” and not grey. Quote (chosenone @ July 04 2007,14:11)The correct translation of Matt.25:41 is: …Go from me, you cursed, into the fire eonian, made ready… Eonian is NOT everlasting.Correct to who? WJ,I understand the Trinity as much as any other. That is to say, not much. There are so many different views of the Trinity that one just has to wonder why it even exists since it is so misunderstood even by those who think they have a grasp of it.Here is what I know: The God of the Trinity is God who reveals Himself as God the Father, God the…[Read more]

WJ,Most perhaps. I must admit that they make a far stretch with this whole “Babylon” thing. I'm not the slightest bit convinced and I wish they would stop mentioning it. To me it is another “fear” tactic; that is, if you believe in the Trinity you have something to do with this whole “Babylon” thing. I'm going to need more evidence than heavy…[Read more]

Hey WJ,1st Commandment: You shall have no other gods before Me. A triune God is not a God that monotheistic Jews or Muslims would know. Therefore, they would reject a triune God as being another God. And as far as equating Lord with God, are you speaking of “Lord” or “LORD” who is Yahweh?I'm confused by this statement: “Non-Trinitarians dont…[Read more]

Hi CO,Quote (chosenone @ July 04 2007,16:18)My answer to the post I originated. Christ has died and was ressurrected by God the third day. What did He die for? Our sins of course! ACC,People must not recognize absurdity. It would be absurd to assert that belief in the Trinity was essential for our salvation, because Jesus did not impart such a requirement to those who heard him. He knows exactly who he is, and he knows his relationship to God. And he knew what he came for. And never once did he say something like “This is…[Read more]
