Quote (Morningstar @ Oct. 15 2007,13:47)Comparison of John 10 and Psalm 82:Jesus reply in Jn 10 makes far more sense if he is referring todivine beings, because he is making the claim that he himself is divine. If he was merely referring to human judges, then he is simply calling himself a man. I don't think this is what the Gospel is trying to…[Read more]

MS,I've seen this before. I don't know where this belief originated, but I can see where people get it from. In the NT, there is no mention of YHWH (YHVH), just the Son of God and God the Father. Since YHWH is not mentioned in the NT, than this leaves it wide open to assert that since Yeshua has a name, and the God of the OT had a name (YHWH),…[Read more]

Not3,Now you truly know that Mary was merely a warm body that carried the incarnate angel or god. She was a human incubator! What suffering do you think was worse, being trapped in the womb for 9 months eating through a tube in his belly or dying on the cross?

WJ,Paul says he wished that moire would speak in tongues, and that he spoke in more tongues than anyone else. Think about his ministry, and think about who he spoke to.Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles. The Jews likely spoke Aramaic. WJ,I would suggest you do some studies on Jews for Jesus. It seems they have a very seedy history. I'll leave the research to you. WJ,Yes, I list the reason why unbelieving Jews will not believe. Doesn't that make sense? Is that not the issue? There are other reasons they reject him of course, but the overwhelming theme I see from unbelieving Jews is the concept of the trinity and the supposed abolishment of the Law. WJ,I get what you're saying, but I think you might not be recognizing Paul's intent in 1 Cor 14. He does say tongues are good, but note how he says that the one who speaks in tongues only builds himself up. In other words, it does the church no good. The CEV, while dynamic, aids a little in understanding.1Co 14:4 (CEV) By speaking languages that…[Read more]
