Well, the short of it is that I weight 205 at 6' 1″. That's not really that bad but I weighed 185 a few years ago. I want to get back down to 180-185.

Quote (Not3in1 @ Jan. 24 2008,11:19)I was thinking…..The folks in the OT died with no hope of the resurrection. Where was their hope? Did they believe in heaven and they would go there? There was no solid belief in an afterlife by Jews until they went into exile. It is thought by many that they were then influenced by Zoroastrianism, and they s…[Read more]

So again you are saying that God and Jesus have been rehashing the same words for 2000 years? I guess its easier that way, God can just pop in a “spiritual soundtrack” and select “repeat”.

I'd rather trust God. Much better.
kejonn replied to the topic Adieu! in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 18 years, 1 month ago
So any Christian who writes anything while under inspiration is a fake? So much for the Spirit. You really don't trust God to adequately inspire anymore, do you Nick? When did you stop having faith in God?

Go to the article linked. It is much more readable. The columns here are too wide for material like this.

I don't have time for your jab-jab, tennis court volleys Nick. Sometimes I think you can disagree with a stump. Seekingtruth wrote some good stuff and all you could tell him was that he needed to be born again, as if he wasn't. So here, argue with this for awhile

Why should you respect me? You said we should only respect those who wrote the bible.I am not playing silly games Nick. I'm just getting you to face a little reality — the bible was written by men.

Quote (david @ Jan. 23 2008,22:07)Quote Oh, and the fact Yahshua raised Lazarus from the dead may have spread a rumor that Lazarus would never die (since he died once already). This (somewhat, but not quite) matches Jhn 21:23 Therefore this saying went out among the brethren that that disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that…[Read more]

Quote (david @ Jan. 23 2008,21:58)Quote I read earlier on another site where someone tried to make the case that Lazarus wrote the Gospel of John. The simplest reason they had was the following verses Jhn 11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. Jhn 19:26 When Jesus then saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved…[Read more]

I have no idea, I don't go out looking for them. I guess Paul is part of your trinity then? God, Jesus, Paul. Do you pray to Paul?
kejonn replied to the topic Adieu! in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 18 years, 1 month ago
If that is the case, how is what Paul says any greater than any other Christian?
kejonn replied to the topic Uncertainty in the forum Prayer & Advice 18 years, 1 month ago
So show me where he never made a mistake, including his writings.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 23 2008,20:07)Hi KJ, Indeed. All who are reborn from above have Christ in them.No that promise is for all who are far off, as many as the Lord God shall call to HimselfSo if Christ is in all Christians, why do you only accept what is written in a book 2000 years ago when there have billions of Christians since?
