Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 15 2008,01:20)Hi KJ, Do you want to join the rush of the lemmings to condemn God?No, because I don't believe the words of any man are fully the words of God. They are just an attempt at describing God in terms acceptable to them.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 14 2008,20:09)Hi not3, Good question. I think not.The Bible is a book resonant with the amazing powers of our God and that helps us believe. It also helps us know about Him and how He wants us to radiate love as He does God always knew in his secret plan that he would send His son to save men.I guess in the meantime, he…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 14 2008,16:21)Hi KJ, Christ was apolitical. So are we.Many Christians are very political. So just to say you are not means little in the face of overwhelming involvement by evangelicals.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 14 2008,15:20)Hi H, If Stu was truly a nonbeliever we would not see him here where the good news is savoured. He has a determined mission to spread his own gospel of disbelief. That suggests he knows God but hates Him.Actually, after quizzing some atheists I've encountered, you'd likely come up with this being the wrong…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 13 2008,21:43)Hi 94,So we agree that it is the Spirit of God that dwells within a reborn believer and teaches him truth. Why is your truth different from the truth of a trinitarian? Someone who does not believe in preexistence? How do you know which version of the truth is the truth? Is the truth you know more true than…[Read more]

Quote (Mr. Steve @ Feb. 13 2008,15:43)What's also very ironic was that Darwin denounced his theories in the end and decided there was a God.You need to research that one more. There is legend that he did so but most of his family denied this.

Nick,You may not do such but I've seen many Christians on other sites doing this. I know of one Jewish site that has many Christians posting, and many of those posts are insulting towards Jews and nothing short of proselytizing. I also see Christians posting on atheist sites and newsgroups. You have one option left to you if this frustrates you…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Jan. 26 2008,19:25)Perhaps if they had interpreted the OT properly they would have recognised their Messiah.“But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.” (Matthew 22:29)Then show Jesus in the OT…if the Jews could not see him, perhaps Christians can?

No one here has made a very good case using the OT to support Jesus being the coming son of David that was spoken of. That to me does not mean he is not our savior, but it does mean he was perhaps not meant to be the Jewish coming king.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 26 2008,15:06)Hi KJ, When folk suffers doubts should they publically dig up their foundations and become preachers of negativity? Why, does it make you start to doubt? I guess this is the scenario: “All of what I am writing is true””Why?””Because God inspired me””Oh, you're right, it must be true then”.
