Quote (mikeboll64 @ June 23 2010,15:00)My answer is no. Not because I don't adore and praise and honor Jesus as the “mighty one” who died so I could have the opportunity to dwell in God's presence. But simply because the word “god” has different implications today than it did in Biblical times. For example, if I say “Jesus is a god”, then I'm a p…[Read more]

Hi Tim,.. it would be ok if it was that simple.KJ, Satan will soon be let loose for a short time then will be the end. Everything will be burnt up.And Nick, (Just curious) why did Jesus say his kingdom was not of the earth? That he goes to prepare a place, that where he GOES we can too? That he will meet his people in the Air? That we will be…[Read more]

Theres more written about the temple being rebuilt in Jerusalem, but now you say this is the Mosque the Dome of the Rock….the one which has engraved on the outside…. Inner Face: South Wall. In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate. There is no God but Allah alone; he has no co-partner. He is the Kingship and His the praise. He…[Read more]

Quote (Tim Kraft @ June 22 2010,22:58)A thought: It seems that if we take the term God and add a name of any kind, we create in our minds an individual. That would be limiting. Also whatever a person believes God to be to him, is what God is (to him). There are as many Gods as there are people. Each sees a different view of God from a different…[Read more]

Quote (Gene Balthrop @ June 23 2010,03:52)Karmarie………..To me the saying my lord and my God, came about when it finally dawned on Thomas that GOD the FATHER, was indeed (IN) Jesus. GOD the Father was literally there with Jesus. Here is some clues, remember when Jesus spoke these words, “destory this temple and in three days i shall raise it…[Read more]

Most of this was written aproximatly 100-200 AD.” Christ showed His flesh as a Temple, and raised it up on the third day; and he, too, will raise up again the Temple of stone in Jerusalem.” (St. Hippolytus)”Antichrist will rule the world from Jerusalem, which he will make into a magnificent city.” (St.…[Read more]

Hi Tim,I agree with you, some people preach more about Satan than anything else. What Satan or the Devil is I dont know, Peter and Jude warn not to speak about what we dont know or understand in regards to this. I guess it goes with the eternal hell teaching, creating fear in people, (but…Fear none, but God), and that fear of God isnt the same…[Read more]

To All,Its so simple…. The lampstands and Olive trees (Two witnesses) are clearly identified as churches. (Followers of Christ all over the world not a building or anything). When John is first told to measure the “temple” the temple had become the Body. The body makes up all believers. Witnesses. Two LAMPSTANDS Revelation 1:20 “the seven…[Read more]

Nick, I have to go but Ignatius was a Martyr IMO, please read this, with the letter to the Romans further down the page.http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=677

Hi Nick, Ignatius loved God and the Son so much he wished to die so he could be with them, He was a Saint and Martyr. He was taught by the Apostles themselves. So I would think He had alot of credibility.

Hi Nick. But what about the title also of God? One Almighty God the Father AND the Lord God Jesus His Son?Because it seems this is what they used to say, (though knowing there was The One Almighty God alone but also the Son)Wouldnt this be classed as having 2 Gods? And is that why they were persecuted and killed in such a strict monotheistic society?
karmarie replied to the topic Romans 10: 9-11 in the forum Scriptural Teachings 14 years, 5 months ago
Hi Nick, so you will stand with the Muslims and deny Jesus as Lord who is Lord under the One Almighty God the Father?
karmarie replied to the topic Romans 10: 9-11 in the forum Scriptural Teachings 14 years, 5 months ago
Also,Within the old Jewish monotheist society, to call another Lord and God would have been really wrong. Was this why they were persecuted and killed? (I dont know?)Also, in the upcoming great tribulation, the middle east is mainly Muslim monotheists, for anyone to say there is another with a title God is even now punishable by death, if Islam…[Read more]
