Thanks wispring So when you read the Bible, you had no other literature as well? (just the Bible)?I mixed my reading with other books, which wasn't good. And then I read all the Early Church Fathers.

Quote (Wispring @ April 04 2011,06:27)Hi Irene, I believe that “The Word” mentioned in John 1:1-14 is the Christed mind. The Christed mind first came in the flesh in Jesus Something. Don't know what Mary and Joseph's last name is. This why he is called Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus. He was anointed with the “The Word”. He is the anointed one of…[Read more]

I agree. And God is a Spirit. And God is love. And we were made in Gods image. And Jesus was in Gods image. Lot's of thing's to think about here. And it makes me wonder WHAT people are talking about when they say God punishes people forever in hot fiery torment? There is NO FEAR in Gods love. For perfect love casts away all fear. And if you do not…[Read more]

Quote (Gene Balthrop @ April 04 2011,05:57)so we need to examine what DRIVES compassion. Compassion is another word for Mercy driven by a feeling of sorrow for another.I believe that is the Holy Spirit. You no longer think of the self but of others. Which is one of the greatest commandments.Quote GOD IS LOVE.God is.

Thats alright Gene, you can call me that. What id like to know any and all is this;Is what you see there in the book Sheppard of Hermas….is that more on the side of pre-existance believers or non pre-existance believers?Becaus that was one of the favourite book's of the early Church, so whatever it say's must have been how they saw it too.
