Being immortal doesn’t discount shedding your body for a new one. That is merely physical death.
Jesus is still alive.
Hi Proclaimer, do you mean Jesus did not really die like any mortal?
gadam123 replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 3 years, 8 months ago
Please first prove that God actually exists via the Hebrew Bible.
It’s funny too as you are avoiding my question on Jesus’ Messiahship. I need not prove the existence of God based on Hebrew Bible as it’s also part of the Christian Bible.

And although I find it funny that you would quote an NT verse to support your argument, 1 Timothy 6:16 refers to God’s immortality, which cannot be taken away by anyone. The immortality of God’s sons can be ended by God if He so chooses.

Let me ask again… Since Jesus is recorded as SAYING he is the Messiah prophesied about in the OT, and since Jesus was a man through whom God did miracles and healings, then we either have a case of God performing miracles through a LIAR – or a case of God never performing miracles through Jesus at all.
Which is it?
Hi Mike, thanks again for your…[Read more]

We know from New Testament teaching, that the Lord’s people are every true Christian person, Jew or Gentile.
Hi Keras, very good posts on Zechariah’s endtime prophecies. But these texts are nothing to do with Christianity and they are purely talking about Jewish nation and their God.
Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi these three prophets are p…[Read more]

Psalm 2:7

Yet IT IS WRITTEN IN Isaiah 9: 6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

So long as there are enough unvaccinated people out there, the virus will have a home and can mutate. Then it will attack the vaccinated too because it is mutating into different strains and we will need new boosters etc.

I’m simply questioning your reasoning on this matter, since God Himself is non-human and alien to us. Why can’t a God who is non-human send a savior who is also non-human? I’m just pointing out a logical fallacy to your argument.
Yes there is no requirement for such non-human Messiah as per the Hebrew Bible. An alien becoming human and die lik…[Read more]

Actually, the OT men you mentioned (and many others) were messiahs of God. But how many of these messiahs who were anointed by God and spoke the words of God to the people were liars? Do you know of any time that God performed miracles through a liar? I don’t.
So do you think that God performed miracles through Jesus, a man who lied about bein…

The Old Testament. Read about how they complained and wanted to return to Egypt. Read about the golden calf and how Moses broke the tablets. It wasn’t a bed of roses was it.

The differing interpretations of Isaiah 52:13-53:12 found in Jewish sources can be divided into four opinions:
