    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Do you not understand decency or does you’re expertise somehow prevent you from relating peer to peer?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Water baptism is done by the saved using earthly water.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Hooray,
    Do you think the message was only for them?
    Acts 17.30
    Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men
    that all everywhere should repent.

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Frustration games have little place here.
    Please explain who Acts 2 38-39 applies to.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
      Acts 2:5 (KJV)

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    So when scripture speaks of earthly baptisms it speaks water baptisms.
    This is the baptism from above that is solely of God
    But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in his name,
    who were born, not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will be of man, but of God.
    Jn 1.12

    @EdJ Hi Ed.
    Then do the decent thing and explain yourself.
    Your cute one word replies achieve little.

      “Your cute one word replies achieve little.” – Nick
      One word answers are suppose to give you clarity.
      Perhaps the wrong question is being asked.
      I don’t have this problem when I ask

      “Then do the decent thing and explain yourself.” Nick
      Do you get to determine what is decent?
      “Yes”or “No”

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Are you saying that non Jews do not need to repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ?
    And the promise of the Holy Spirit is not for them?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Indeed the living Christ baptises men in the Holy Spirit.
    But his servants do not. They lay hands on men but the Spirit baptism is from above.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Your opinion of one verse adds nothing to divine revelation.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Let t8 enjoy his power.
    He seems to need to feel in control.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    It is more important to agree that the words of Peter at Pentecost apply to all men.
    All men need God’s forgiveness as offered in water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
    But you said the words were for the Jews?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Yes.
    Men cannot baptise in the Holy Spirit.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      Hi Nick,
      According to Matthew 3:11 and Luke 3:16 Jesus baptizes us
      with God’s HolySpirit. But According to YOU, the HolySpirit
      baptizes us with the HolySpirit – this makes no sense ???

      You have NO Scriptural support for your erroneous idea – only ‘brain-bondo’

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Tit3.5
    He saved us , not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy,
    by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Two anointings?
    When and why?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
    God is not a God of confusion but He never spoke of natural birth as being of water.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      Context Nick, Nicodemus Did
      Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
      can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
      Then Jesus explains of “Born of Water”and “Born Again” of the spirit

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    That which is born of flesh is flesh.
    (This is why natural men must be reborn from above as flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom)
    That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
    (If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ he does not belong to him)
    But God requires we plead for a clean conscience first in water baptism- 1 Peter 3.21

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      That which is born of flesh is flesh.
      (This is why natural men must be reborn from above as flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom)
      True

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    There was s no record of the apostles being baptised in water but Jesus told them the word had washed them in Jn 15.3
    God makes the exceptions but the command to all was to be
    BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS.
    WE PREACH WHAT IS COMMANDED.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    You must be born again. Jesus said it three times, but you see a reference to the natural birth in there too.
    Unless one is born of water AND THE Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
    You say natural birth is of water but scripture offers your ideas no support.
    The Body of Christ is washed by the Word, not the repentant hopefuls.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      “You say natural birth is of water but scripture offers your ideas no support.”- Nick
      Yes Nick, context supports the idea
      “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” (John 3:6)

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    We must be REBORN.
    And this rebirth involves WATER AND THE SPIRIT.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      And this rebirth involves WATER AND THE SPIRIT.
      Yes Nick, natural birth (born of water),
      and “born again” (born of the spirit)

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Then God formed man of the dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; andman became a living being.

    Remember man that THOU ART DUST, and unto dust thou shalt return.
