So were the prophets not inspired by the Spirit of God in your theology but by the spirit of a man?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 5 months ago

We are destroying SPECULATIONS and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God..NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 5 months ago

What is written we can speak of. It is not written HOW the Spirit conceived Jesus in Mary.
Speculations are discouraged such as your speculative interpretation of Micah 5.2
The Spirit of Christ was in the prophets before it was ‘ conceived ‘in Mary??NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 5 months ago

I have already replied to your question.“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)
Are you claiming Christ was conceived in Mary
through Joseph’s sperm as Jodi believes?
“Yes” or “No”?
I’m assuming your answer is: “Yes”; so if you continue
to remain silent I will assume this is your answer
You do the right to deny this if you choose

1peter 1.10
As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied in the grace that would come to you made careful search and enquiry, seeking to know what person or time the SPIRIT OF CHRIST within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. So the Spirit of Christ existed before you say it WAS…[Read more]

You say the SPIRIT OF CHRIST was conceived in the womb of Mary.
Then you believe in man, not God.Do you have the spirit of the man Jesus?
It left him at Calvary. But somehow you have to have it as Romans 8.9 warns you.

You apply human ways to interpret those of the Spirit.
The Spirit is one but God shows different aspects of the Spirit by His choice of WE.You apply human ways to interpret those of the Spirit.
Are you looking in a mirror as you say this. (ref. Psalm 18:25-27)
The Spirit is one but God shows different aspects of the Spirit by His choice of WE.
You apply human ways to interpret those of the Spirit. This Spirit Nick talks about a lot convinced him that Jesus was not the Christ in the City of David. It also convinced him that Jesus in the Bible is not the Christ, only Jesus Christ is. But we are told that there is indeed a spirit that denies that Jesus is the Christ. Thankfully, we have scripture to help us expose lying spirits.

The Father shared His Spirit with His Son.
In the Son the full portion is called the Spirit of Christ.
Never two entities but one Spirit and we are invited to join this communion. The Father shared His Spirit with His Son.
Yes The Father also shared His Spirit with all His Sons.
In the Son the full portion is called the Spirit of Christ.
Putting in your own ideas? …is that wise?Never two entities but one Spirit and we are invited to join this communion.
Maybe you should smudge this verse out of your bible if you don’t believe what it says…
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me,
he will keep my words: and my Father will love him,
and WE will come unto him,
and make OUR abode with him.Never two entities
“WE” is two entities, Nick

Will you receive what scripture says?
Behold a virgin WILL CONCEIVE…
Lk 1
And behold YOU WILL CONCEIVE in your womb and bear a son…
Your relative Elizabeth HAS ALSO CONCEIVED a son….Mt 1
For that which. HAS BEEN CONCEIVED IN HER is of the Holy Spirit, and she WILL BEAR A SON..You believe that the SPIRIT OF CHRIST is a separate…[Read more]

Yes your relationship with the truth is rather tenuous but you hold fast to your own ideas.
Pulling folk from the flames is not of the devil. Jude 23, Jas 5.19-20
If Elizabeth CONCEIVED a son so did Mary, but of the Holy Spirit.Yes your relationship with the truth is rather tenuous but you hold fast to your own ideas.
Are you looking in a mirror as you say this. (ref. Psalm 18:25-27)Pulling folk from the flames is not of the devil.
I never said no such thing. Bearing false witness is a sin!If Elizabeth CONCEIVED a son so did Mary, but of the Holy Spirit.
So glad you finally agree with me on this!

Mary conceived her son in her womb.
The Holy Spirit is responsible for all creation.
The bloodline is through Joseph so God did it somehow.
Joseph was not involved but we are not given the precise details of how.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 5 months ago

You USE scripture FOR YOUR PURPOSES
Do you mean: I use Scripture to “Edify” ?Hi Nick, I have a question for you, do you agree with Jodi’s answer to me…
In post #845776 on page 5 of the Thread…Why is Jesus called the second Adam if you say he came from Adam???
“it would be better to serve truth” – Nick
Are you claiming that I don’t serve truth? “Yes” or “No” ?
Please answer

No.
So you can try and make two statements mean the same thing and you think that satisfies scriptural truth?IT MOST CERTIANLY DOES, AND I CAN PROVE IT, with you answering this simple question….
If a woman “has concieved”, And she makes the announcement
“I’m going to have a baby”, is she WRONG? “Yes” or “No”?
Nick: NoThank you for proving me right!
Do people who disagree with you lack having Scriptural truth? “Yes” or “No”
