@EdJ Hi Ed,
Please be accurate and show respect to the Word of God.
Paul baptised as recorded in Acts and he said
1 Cor 1.14
I thank God that I baptised none of you except Crispus and Gaius, that no man should say you were baptised in my name.
NowI did baptise also the household of Stephanus ; beyond that I do not know if I baptised any other.…[Read more]NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Gal 3.27
For all of you who were baptised into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
Is this clothing mportant for all?
Matt 22.11
And when the King came to look over the dinner guests he saw there was a man not dressed in wedding clothes,
and he sad to him
‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And he was…[Read more]NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Acts 22.15
And now why do you delay? Arise and be baptised, and wash away your sins calling on his name.
Any baptism by the will of man is water baptism.Jn 1.12
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in his name,
who were born not of blood, nor the will of man, but…[Read more]NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Acts 19.5
And when they heard this, they were baptised in the name of the lord Jesus.
And when Paul laid hands upon them they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.Yes they had been water baptised by John and by Paul and then God baptised them in the Spirit.
No confusion there is there?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Yes the baptism of John (Acts 19) was of water and a requirement for the Jews as Lk 7.30 makes plain.
Neither were gentiles required to become Jews or to be circumcised as Baptism is the new circumcision.col2.11-12
Surely you do not confuse John’s baptism with those who came to Christ and were water baptised for the forgiveness of t…[Read more]NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ hi Ed,
You deny much.
So tell us what you do believe.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
So are there several ways?
Does the message of Peter at Pentecost apply only to the Jews and does that include the promise of the Spirit in Acts 2.39?
Was Paul wrong in saying there was no longer Jew and Gentile?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Great,
Then tell us of your new gospel ….for the Jews and gentiles?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
The jailer in Acts 16.33 was baptised by Paul.
Was he a Jew?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
In your quote from Acts 15 you missed the start the f the letter
‘The apostles and the brethren who are elders,
TO THE BRETHREN in Antioch and Syria and Cicilia, who are FROM THE GENTILES.BRETHREN are one with the brothers in Christ.

@EdJ Hi Ed,
Cornelius was not a Jew but Peter commanded that he and his friends be baptised in water.
If you are right , Peter was wrong.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
All have sinned.
All must repent.For there is one name under heaven by which we can be saved.
Your gospel is falseNickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Romans explains the relevance of being baptised into the death of Jesus Christ.
But this must only apply to the Jews as well?Those who have sinned outside the law will perish outside the Law.
You suggest the death of Jesus was only for the sake of the Jews?
You risk mocking God and His son’s great sacrifice.
There is no salvation o…[Read more]NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
The book of Romans was written to the saved, not the unsaved. Romans 1
If you think It offers another way than through the Son you are deceived and you deny the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for all.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Is there some other way that some can be saved outside of the death of the Son of God?
This a a new gospel and one of division, not unity in Jesus Christ.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
What is burdensome about salvation by the blood of the Saviour?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Do you really think that there are two groups, Jews and gentiles, and only ne group, the Jews, needs the blood of Jesus?
Why were the apostles giving advice to non Christians?NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
Do you think that the gentiles who had TURNED TO GOD had not received the gospel in f Jesus Christ and responded to it?
Your Jesus is not mine as mine paid the price for the sins of the world, not just those of the Jews. Your are greatly deceived.NickHassan posted an update 5 years, 8 months ago
@EdJ Hi Ed,
So your interpretation is that nonjews can turn to God and ignore the requirement to be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ?
But It is OK should they choose to do so? When were Jews separated from gentiles? Where does scripture say that the sacrifice of Jesus was only necessary for the Jews and gentiles do not need him? Why do…[Read more]No mention of water here…

Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Acts 15:19-20 (KJV)For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
