You contradict yourself constantly about reasoning
Reasoning is basic to our natural understanding, but when it comes to comprehending spiritual realities – it simply falls short.
When Nicodemus queried Jesus about the new birth, it just did not make sense to his natural mind… “How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second…[Read more]

DavidL replied to the topic Christianity is Hopelessly Confused in the forum Faith 11 years ago
One pure fact about Christianity is that it is hopelessly confused
Unfortunately I agree completely – and as a Christian, have struggled much with disillusionment..
How can Christian denominations hold so many conflicting doctrines that all stem from the same Book…?
I have come to believe that the Book must be interpreted by the Spirit…[Read more]

Show us where revelation has taught any TRINITY.
You can hold many things up in front of a blind man – but what’s the point..?
DavidL replied to the topic Supporting the Trinity Doctrine? – The Trinity Doctrine in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 11 years ago
Why do you refuse to believe in the foundation of the Church that Jesus built then?
That foundation is “revelation”, t8 – not the teachings of your own brain.
DavidL replied to the topic Who and what is Jesus? – The Trinity Doctrine in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 11 years ago
It is persecution DavidL. Because you oppose me for believing that the Father is the one true God and that He sent another, his son into the world.
I guess if you tell yourself that enough t8, you’ll actually start believing it – but is it really true..?
I confront you over your teaching on the trinity – because you’ve got things back to fr…[Read more]

God created the heaven and earth by his Word but the first mention is when he spoke and said “Let there be Light” and there was light.
Jesus was not conceived nor were those by which he originated, except for God. God had not yet made Adam.

If the word became flesh is a literal statement then the Word of God died? when Jesus says the Flesh profiteth nothing if the word was made flesh literally would not that mean it profits not? You are simply mistaken
The flesh of Jesus Christ is our food.

It is you who offered the words of the pharisees in support of your theory that Peter’s words needed adding to.
And you accuse us of pride?
I say that Jesus is the Son of God…
You say – he was just a man…!!
Aren’t you being the Pharisee..??
“..And the high priest said to Him, “I adjure You by the living God, that You tell us wh…[Read more]

You keep saying that John 1:1 represents Genesis also, right?
So here is the question: Does God have a beginning?
Because in both John and Genesis it talks about the beginning of something and although I am certain 100% it is the beginning of different things and that John and Genesis have nothing to do with each other…God wants me to ask y…

So you do agree with the pharisees?
You keep strange company.
I speak to you truth – and this is your response..!
..are you grasping for straws…?
The Pharisees could not accept the truth because of their own pride..
..do you also have the same problem…??
DavidL replied to the topic What is your confession regarding Jesus in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 11 years ago
The question you should ask is…
Was this understanding limited to the Pharisees alone – or is the concept of the Son’s equality with God openly confirmed in Scripture..?
Paul says of Christ, ” who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped..” and, “For in Christ lives all the fullness of Go…[Read more]

Peter said
“You are the Christ the Son of the living God “and Jesus approved.
Do you agree with Peter or have you learned more than Peter and Jesus?
It’s not merely a matter of agreeing – but also understanding..
