Is there anything else? I've noticed Nick, you've never really commented on any of these points, other than to dismiss them as silly, since that is all you seem capable of doing.WHO TAKES ACTION AGAINST SATAN, “RULER OF THIS WORLD”?Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out…[Read more]

What else can we discern from scripture?“ARCHANGEL” IS NEVER FOUND IN PLURAL IN SCRIPTUREInterestingly, the expression “archangel” is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying that there is only one. Hence, it is reasonable to conclude that Jehovah God has delegated to one, and only one, of his heavenly creatures full authori…[Read more]

OK, let's teach some things that are written:JESUS CALLS OUT WITH AN ARCHANGELS VOICE.At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (RS), the command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as “the archangel’s call,” and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. It is reasonable to conclude that only an archangel would call “with an archang…[Read more]

Nick just wrote:”It is up to you to prove what you teach as doctrine.”I have already given several scriptural reasons for this belief. The fact that you are leaving it up to me and putting the weight on me implies that you cannot disprove it. Hey Nick,The other questions about the morning star, etc, I have never addressed or used as proof. I only answered the questions that you asked based on what I said. You asked: “Where does it say there is only one archangel?”My answer: Nowhere. My question: Where does it say there are more than one? Where does it even hint that there are more than…[Read more]

I tend to get migraines from alcohol. Here are some more scritures on wine:The Bible writers Peter and Paul advised moderation by counseling the early Christians to avoid “excesses with wine” and not to “be getting drunk with wine.” This admonition was to be taken seriously, as the apostle warned: ‘Drunkards will not inherit God’s kingdom.’ I…[Read more]

Nick, shouldn't you direct people to the other thread on this? Quote All this about Michael being Jesus. Michael could not have been Jesus because there was only the Word. The Word was the beginning of God's creation. So, t8, just wondering what someone has to do to be removed from here. I'm wondering what you're policies are on that. I know you've threatened once. But I'm just wondering how far someone has to go.Also, you are the only one in charge of this, correct? How did you find Nick? How long have you known him?

Quote remembering implication is irrelevantMy computer dictionary says this:Implication: 1.The implicit (implied though not directly expressed) conclusion that can be drawn from something.2. A likely consequence.3.The action of implicating or state of being implicated.Sure, maybe one implication could be termed irrelevent. Because it's only one.…[Read more]

Quote The word ANGEL is a interpretation, not a translation. The correct translation is, MESSENGER OF GOD. Most all Christians imagin vain things about angels. In our bibles when wings are mentioned its always speaking parabolically in dreams or visions; ALWAYS. Messengers of God do not literally have wings. Wings symbolize status, the angels with…[Read more]

Yes, revelation was presented “in signs,” we are told. The dragon was a symbol. But isn't a parable a comparison between two things where one thing symbolizes or represents another? I really think we should take a closer look at the difference between illustrations, parables, and allegories at some point. My point was a simple one: Satan is not a…[Read more]

That it cannot be concluded from this parable that Hades itself is a place of blazing fire is made clear at Revelation 20:14, where death and Hades are described as being hurled into “the lake of fire.” The death of the rich man and his being in Hades are therefore also figurative, figurative death being mentioned elsewhere in the Scriptures. I didn't start with the premise that Luke 16 wasn't true. I started with 2 premises:1. that all those other scriptures that talk about hades were true.2. that luke 16 is a parable and not literal. Both premises are strong and have many good reasons for being true.
