Is 1:18, If the answers are right, what does it matter where they came from?Does their logic and truthfulness bother you? Or is it the fact that you really can't dispute their reasoning? I realize it makes it much harder for you. You've already complained about a couple times before. Is 1:18, there are certain subjects that I would like to…[Read more]

Here is another clue as to who Babylon the Great, the harlot is:At Revelation 17:18, she is described as “the great city that has a kingdom over the kings of the earth.” This allows her to sit on “many waters,” which mean “peoples and crowds and nations and tongues,” as shown at Revelation 17:1, 15. According to verse 3 in the same chapter, sh…[Read more]

Babylon the Great is the global system of religion that bears the earmarks of ancient Babylon. Consider some of the similarities:· The priests of ancient Babylon were deeply involved in the nation’s political affairs. That is true of much religion today.· Babylon’s priests often promoted the nation’s warfare. Modern-day religion has often been in…[Read more]

Quote Rambling Rose, baby you hit the nail on the Head. I couldn't have said it better myself.Jesus revealed the Word of God to us. Jesus made it very clear that he didn't speak on his own accord. He spoke what the Father commanded him to speak, Deuteronomy 18:18-19, John 12:49.Jesus IS NOT THE WORD. The Word was revealed to us THROUGH him. The…[Read more]

Where did Lazarus go when he died? (John 11:11-14) Had he been in heaven, why would Jesus resurrect him?Jesus said that Lazarus was sleeping. It wasn't literal sleep. But he was unconsious, as in sleep. (Eccl 9:5) And like sleep, a person can be awoken or resurrected from death. But when a person dies, his “thoughts,” KJ, “all his think…[Read more]

Quote there is nothing I can find in Scripture to indicate he was anything other than a pretty normal child/adult UNTIL he was baptized and received the spirit.Indeed, the Bible says he “became flesh.” He was truly flesh, human. Quote Elohim = YHWH = Holy Spirit = Father = WordThe above are all one Almighty YHWH.Yet, interestingly, the Hebrew word Shad·dai´ and the Greek word Pan·to·kra´tor are both translated “Almighty,” and neither of those expressions are ever applied to the Son or the holy spirit. Both original-language words are repeatedly applied only to Jehovah,…[Read more]

Quote I came to the “belief” the spirit is the “active force” used by God, and conveyed to Christ to use as well, because that is what thousands of years of history & Hebrew understanding show; because the early Christians understood it that way as well; because it is ADMITTEDLY a late 3rd/early 4th century fabrication of the Roman Church;…[Read more]

Kenrch, Jesus “became flesh,” human. (John 1:14) It seems I've had or heard discussions on here where people are discussing the nature of Jesus while on earth. He “became flesh.” I just added this scripture because I don't remember using it or seeing it in those discussions.david

Do the Catholics believe in the trinity? YES.Yet, what do they admit? The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: “The formulation ‘one God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century.
