Quote You haven't really made a valid point here David. Yes Yahshua's Father has not been put under Yahshuas feet. But then again He does not qualify as “a thing” – being uncreated and all….the same applies to Yahshua of course. And yet, 1 CORINTHIANS 15:27“For “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been su…[Read more]

Quote You go on to state how nobody knows how many nails were used or how exactly Christ was crucified. That is exactly my point. JW's sure like to teach as fact things that can only remain opinions via lack of official evidence. We don't know how many nails were used. The Bible doesn't say. We do know that he died on a “stauros” (stake or pole)…[Read more]

It's true that the trinity is related, because if the trinity belief is true, then the possibility of Jesus being an angel decreases to zero. But, we have a lot of threads on the trinity. I'd rather leave this thread to the actual topic.False beliefs are a great hindrance in accepting what appears to be true.If someone believes in the trinity,…[Read more]

Quote You think Jesus died on a stake. I think he died on a stake as well. I just think that stake had a cross beam attached to it.I have yet to see any Biblical evidence for a crossbeam, or that what Jesus died on was anything other than an ordinary “stauros.” The word “xylon” is also used in connection with the instrument of his death. This…[Read more]

“Church” itself is a pagan word. “Congregation” is the word that is found in my Bible. The word “ecclesiastes” means to congregate together. People who meet together are a congregation. The word “church,” which has pagan backgrounds, has definitions which fit outside of what the Bible writers meant.

Robyn, you only replied to my Sept 20th post by saying that I overthink things.Well I don't think you think things over enoughPlease go back to my Sept 20th post and explain why the Bible is wrong. Explain why the apostles seemed unaware of what you seem to understand so clearly.

Quote Quote (t8 @ Sep. 22 2006,23:22)So back to the real issue:Where/what post did Nick deceptively edit. I await the answer. If there is no proof then the accuser should go, unless he apologises. If Nick did deceptively edit a post and lie about it, then surely he has to go unless he repents.I think that is fair. Obviously people want justice and…[Read more]

Quote I have many speculations myself. I have even spoken some of them here on Heaven Net, but I would never make a speculation a base doctrine or force others to believe as I do.t8, I would never force my beliefs on anyone either. Hi Is 1:18,first, where have you been?Second, you stated:”And it's unreasonable to assert that an individual could be a created thing AND the Creator of ALL things at the same time.”Let's look at a smiliar scripture. There are many scriptures that speak of God subjecting ALL THINGS under Jesus feet. HEBREWS 2:5-9“For it is not to angels that h…[Read more]

Quote He is just like his Father. . . . I suppose a simple way to put it would be he is a little god. Like Father like son. Hi Mercy. He isn't “just” like his Father. His Father is from time indefinite to time indefinite. Jesus was the firstborn of creation. Jesus is a son of God, as the angels are. He is a created spirit being. The angels…[Read more]

Hi Mercy, You say:Quote Jesus existed before the foundations of the earth were established. He was the firstborn, the unique son. Only he was in the exact expressive image of the father. Hi Adam, you state:”The writer of Hebrew is obviously refuting 'angel-christology' which appears was prevalent at his time; he is refuting it using the strongest possible terms. He is showing that Jesus the Messiah, GOD's Son, was not an angelic being at any time!”That's one way to look at it. Hebrews 1:5 – “For to what angel did God ever say,…[Read more]
