Have you heard of circular reasoning, or begging the question or Petitio Principii? This thread is about “Jesus, Michael” and whether or not they are the same one.You saying that: “As Christ has all authority, he is in authority over all the angels including Michael,” is of course meaningless if Michael and Christ are the same one.So going back to…[Read more]

Both Isaiah’s and Micah’s prophecies foretell such a re-gathering of true worshipers “in the final part of the days.” Isaiah says: “It must occur in the final part of the days that the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it all th…[Read more]

Hi M42. I think you started a thread on just this subject. I answered you there, or directed you to where this has been discussed at great length. If you could ask a more specific question, I would be happy to answer. But if we are discussing “hell/hades” or “hellfire” or whatever I would actually prefer to comment in those threads, as I already…[Read more]

REVELATION 1:17-18“And when I saw him , I fell as dead at his feet. And he laid his right hand upon me and said: “Do not be fearful. I am the First and the Last, and the living one; and I became dead, but, look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Hádes.”We remember that in Rev 1:5, Jesus was called “the firstbo…[Read more]

REVELATION 1:11The phrase “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last” found in the King James Bible and a few others, is not found in some of the oldest Greek manuscripts, such as the Alexandrine, Sinaitic, and Codex Ephraemi rescriptus. As far as I can tell, most modern versions of the Bible don’t include the phrase “I am Alpha and Omega,…[Read more]

I know. I was just struck when Is 1:18 who so strongly supports the trinity doctine said that this was some of the strongest proof.Yet, as you mention, there are so many speaking, and names often aren't included, so I would love for Is 1:18 to explain how this is in any way considered proof, much less, some of the strongest proof.

M42, Truthfully, I'm not completely sure I know what you're asking. So my telling you to check the Bible was a safe bet in finding what JW's believe. But if that's not what you were wanting:In the “hades/hell–what is the difference” thread, I believe there's been much comment from me.https://www.heavennet.net/cgi-bin….8;st=10Much of this…[Read more]

I've asked Is 1:18 about this on page 540 of the trinity thread. I really would like an actual answer from someone who believes that Jesus taught he was God Almighty. –They were people who were desparate to have Jesus put to death. –They were willing to falsify the truth and to step outside of proper procedure to accomplish their goals.–Yet,…[Read more]
